Backstory

Valendra was a Saiyan on the planet Vegeta before it was destroyed. At the time she had come back from a mission as a child a bit earlier than anticipated, cleansing the life on the planet in tradition with the Saiyan business. However proud her parents were that day ended up being inconsequential. Valendra was rather arrogant after her victory, and as a Saiyan. She had no real guage of her strength other than sparring with other Saiyans and fighting weaker races. She was scheduled to go with a team to a particular planet, but was told she needed a team. Wanting to believe she could handle it solo, Valendra snuck into a pod to race off toward her assigned planet before the rest of her team was assembled.

Little did she realize this was her saving grace, as about a day after she left the planet was destroyed by Freiza. Freiza wouldn't have had time to know about this pod, lucky for her...or he had likely expected the remaining Saiyans to be of little to no threat, or they were all on planet Vegeta. Either way, Valendra's arrogance saved her life from Freiza for the time being.

Due to the difficulty level of the planet, cleansing was proving difficult. She had to train while she was there, and when she was about 18 or so some of Freiza's men came to the planet. When she heard them talking about how Planet Vegeta was destroyed she almost couldn't believe it.

When Valendra heard this, she snapped and assaulted Freiza's men and interrogated them painfully until they spilled the whole truth from them. Valendra was so angry over this, and so depressed, that she reached a bottom in her emotions. She broke, realizing what she had been doing to other races, and how much she was going to miss friends and family. Soon after she transformed into a Super Saiyan. Her race was gone, same with her parents, her friends...her life. She had no idea what to do with it. She had to kill Freiza. So she got in her lifepod, and zipped off into the vastness of space.

A spacetime abnormality happened, and her travel was interrupted. It was unclear where exactly she went...

Personality

Valendra is not inherently cruel, but she gets lost in the pleasure of fighting sometimes. If you're her friend, then chances are she wont fight you - and if she does she'll have more self control than the desperation of the need for survival.

Other than that, she does have a burning desire for revenge, however, she'll take up a drink with you, she'll banter with you, chat it up. She's not totally unpleasant to be around, its just when she's in a fight, or her desires for revenge that may put people off. She does still have a competitive nature, and that may extend to anything such as video games, arm wrestling, eating contests (you'll lose that one), et cetera.

After her planet was destroyed she went through a change. The traditionally cruel Saiyan in her was replaced by one of compassion and empathy. She had realized the depth of what she was doing, and missing her family and friends couldn't compare to the loss of countless races. So she will try to defend people instead to find some way to make up for it. She didn't know any better before, but it didn't help the way she felt after.

The Park

I leave the end of her backstory open on purpose.

She could arrive on any world, or be on the park. As there is no real definition of what its like, it could be anything or anywhere. Valendra is quite strong, as she is a Saiyan, and does enjoy a challenge, but she is not overly cruel.

Saiyans have a rather massive appetite, and this includes Valendra as well, and that means people could be used to quench this hunger so she may eat them whole and alive in the park.
