Vani's career as a mage started with how most of her days began. With her head deep in a book and her fingers covered in ink. It was like any other day for Vani, mucking around with her friends as she sketched in her notebook. It was only until she started to sketch one of her friend's as a dog did she find out she had a magical gift, it was also the day she ownered her first pet. Soon after than incident her parents decided it was best for everyone for Vani to leave and so she headed out to study her new craft.

It didn't take long for Vani and her unfortunate classmates to realise that while Vani had a great gift it was rather... focused. The praises she had one recieved early on became groans or panicked shuffling whenever she cast a spell. Casting a regular water spell usually ended up with her flooding a whole room or turning herself into a icicle. While she failed at most magic she tried she found she excelled in transformation magic.

------ Personality ------

Vani has a very bubbly and energetic personality but is easily embaressed and teased. Around her friends she regularly finds herself either laughing or puffing out cheeks in embaressment. While normally mild mannered she has been known to have a vindictive streek to her, taking pleasure in hurting those she considers "guilty" of some crime.

Vani LOVES sketching and reading. It was her love of these that actually sparked her special use of magic creating a bond between her and ink itself. It is a very rare sight indeed not see Vani with a book in hand and her eyes glued to the page, a habbit that has gotten her into troble while walking.... a lot.

While most people would think Vani dislikes the outdoors due her home almost being a library, nothing could be further from the truth. She loves exploring and adventuring considering it the only real way to learn more about the world and sketch more things to improve her magic. The main reason she avoids any sort of sports is the same reason she trips often, she is clumsy.

------ Magic -------

After numerous failed attempts at using regular magic Vani discovered a new form suited her perfectly, INK MAGIC.

Glyphs: Using Ink Vani can mark objects or people with certain glyphs. If drawn correctly these gylphs can change iron into gold, a cat into bird and even shrink and grow any object they are imprinted on. They also have wildly different effects if she messes up a single line

Ink World: Vani has discovered that she can alter the world around her sketchbook. As long as Vani pictures either a place or object in her mind and sketches it any changes in the drawning will effect the real life counterpart as long as she is close by. Drawings as well as long as fully completed can be brought to life for a period of time. Like gylphs if Vani messes up her sketch there are consquences. (This magic has proved useful when Vani was too poor to go on vacation and drew her own holiday)

Living Ink: The final aspect of her magic and not one that Vani uses often. Tattoos on Vani's body have a life of their own. Something she doesn't normally discuss being shy about it but easy enough to figure out if she ever uses it. Picture a dragons mouth on her stomach and what that could do if anyone came close.
