Before we get to the nice chunk that is labeled as 'Profile', let's clear up a few things first, shall we? If you know these things, then you can skip them by mashing the 'X' button. Don't ask what it is, it is to be assumed you read the instruction manual before going here.
What is a turian?
They are a species that has roughly 40% of its population possessing sticks up their asses.
Nah, not really - one could say that probably only pertains to some of the military, but that's if you want to debate it. They're an alien species that looks akin to avian humanoids, standing roughly over six feet tall, and seem best described as predator-class beings, with their talons and lithe figure, as well as how their eyes are set with their heads. They have a metallic "exoskeleton", due to their home world having a rather weak magnetic field due to a poor metal core, so in long-term, low-level radiation situations, they're good to go...though said metallic "exoskeleton" doesn't actually count as any form of "natural armor".
Also, don't try to offer one a hamburger, or fries, or even that super-awesome, once-in-a-lifetime well-done steak that you'll never be able to cook exactly like that again, because their home world (which is called 'Palaven', for those who were wondering) supports life, but in a dextro-amino acid-based environment - things from worlds that humans and the like are from came from worlds with a levo-amino acid-based environment. What does this mean? It means, in essence, that food and drink consumed with its origins from a levo-amino acid-based environment will, at best, pass through without providing any kind of nutrition...and at worst, as well as most often, cause an allergic reaction that can be fatal if not immediately treated. So please, be nice to any turians and quarians you meet - the gesture is nice, but they can't eat your super-special-awesome steak. You'd probably feel bad if you killed them with it by making them eat it, at least, worse than them saying they can't eat it but appreciate the gesture.
Profile:
A member of an alien race known as the Turians, Vector Telasi (Tel-a-sea) is an interesting subject in that regard – he has no records with the turians, and not even the Council has information on him, making him possibly either a rogue turian (and thus shamed and deemed un-trustable) or the last surviving member of a lost legion of turians, though no known records are available to state what legion he is from – it is a matter he refuses to talk about fiercely, making it clear it’s a topic that is very touchy with him, and it tends to make him edgy and more rigid when the matter is pressed.
He stands approximately 6’3” tall, and has a silver-like metallic "exoskeleton" and his insignia painted on his face in a dark red – one more fact that makes him odd, as red is a color not known to be used for an insignia – and is considered odd for a Turian: he not only possesses the mannerisms common with turians, but also has an odd sense of humor and cheerfulness to his being, making him seem to be an enigma to the mold that turians are considered to be formed from. While he is serious and puts the needs of the group before his own personal wants, he is not above going for what he wants when it imposes no trouble upon his group or others at times.
The truth of his identity is that he is actually Naru Itimagi, only undercover to get access to information he doesn’t have stored in his own data banks, and to experience the galaxy in that dimension first-hand rather than skim over it all for information and leave. As such, he has a knack for adventure and doesn’t mind signing up with explorers for credits and the chance to get out and about. He runs his own pub on the Citadel called ‘The Fourth Wall’, a seemingly inside joke of his that none have managed to guess at the true meaning of – to the point he has put up a contest to give one free drinks for a year to drum up additional business and see just how clever or far-fetched the guesses can get. The fact he’s able to run a pub so well is also strange for a turian, as their nature and upbringing tend to make them poor entrepreneurs, and has drawn attention of the wrong sort at times – both with the law, and from outlaws as well, with both groups handled respectfully to their natures: those with the law are shown his identification, papers, and everything else they need to prove he is a citizen, he does run the pub legally, and he’s doing nothing illegal, while outlaws are usually asked to leave kindly before resorting to disarming and subduing through surprising martial arts before going as far as to draw out his pistol and start a gun fight inside the place. Citizen statements have reported only twice that he’s had to pull out his gun, and only once was there a firefight inside the pub itself – the legal system loved that case a lot, for sure, given how he settled out of court in the end over it all.
While he is an oddball by even turian terms, he still holds to their way of life and stance with his actions, accepting accountability for anything and everything he does – to the point that, when asked why he does some of the things he does, like let outlaws get away alive after trying to take his own life, he usually shrugs and states that he’s just trying to be a ‘light within the darkness of space’, an allegory to the Fragment’s mantra, ‘light resides in darkness, as darkness resides in light’.
Appearance:
While he prefers not to seem overly cautious, he is seen in his armor more often than not due to many run-ins with unfavorable types, it seemingly a fairly basic suit of medium armor, though one could tell just by looking at it for a moment that it was either made for a C-Sec officer, or else it was some kind of armor that was rare to find – the truth of the matter is that no merchant group has a piece of armor like it, as it is a prototype that Vector wears and made himself, having some of the best damage resistance, shielding, and tech/biotics protection out there; how he managed to create it is a secret, and some have gone as far as to say he got it off the black market rather than think that his story of it being a gift from a long-time friend and adventurer is true, even if those with black market connections themselves turn up empty on information about his armor. Given that, he does tend to assume that one will try to kill him to get it, which all attempts on his life for his armor have thus far failed, usually with deaths kept to a minimum and most of the attackers being left to flee injured but alive. While his armor is of great interest, his pistol is fairly normal – as far as high-end pistols go, at least. Using a Karpov VII outfitted with some high-end mods to go with, it helps him get his point across and would be worth a good fortune alone, though lethality isn’t want it is optimized for. As his personal preference goes, ‘killing is for chumps, disabling is for champs’ which explains why he kills so few people who attempt to take his own life, finding that they will learn eventually to stop throwing their lives away for his armor when they will never get it. As he likes to explain it, the dead don’t talk as much as the living do, and if he can stop attacks and spare lives, he’s more than willing to shoot someone in the leg or arm to get them to stop running or shooting and then interrogate them.
His armor is primarily black with blue to it, making it thought to be the reason people think he may be C-Sec at times, and the fact he wears a blue scanner over his left eye (as his eyes are the normal yellow) does not tend to help much, either - both in his mysterious appearance and looking like a C-Sec officer. Still, despite the fact he looks like someone he’s not, he’s more than happy to uphold the law and assist C-Sec at times, as well as just offer life advice to patrons who come in to drown the day or their lives away in alcohol to escape their problems.
He is adeptly skilled in the use of all types of firearms, to keep up the visage of being an actual turian, though the only two weapons he tends to keep on him is a pistol and, if adventure is what he’s doing, a sniper rifle as well. The pistol, as he says, is just for self-defense if he cannot disarm his opponents without risk of injury, and mainly tries to aim for the arms, and in the case of those who try to run, in the feet or legs to make them have to crawl. He’s turned in his own fair share of criminals to C-Sec to handle after they tried to take his life, to the point he’s been asked to try and bring in more criminals that aren’t bleeding all over the floors from multiple gun wounds.

The Story Thus Far (Mass Effect 2)
It was either fate, or sheer dumb luck, that ensured his safety from the hell that transpired on the Citadel that fateful day. He was fully aware of what was going on with the geth and Saren, but despite having seen the famous Commander Shepard once during that ordeal, he decided sticking to the sidelines was best - he didn't feel up to getting involved with galaxy-saving duties, when he had a hard enough time running his pub without problems at times. As fate - or sheer dumb luck, as previously mentioned - would have it, he would get an offer to assist in protecting some scientists at a site for some time, getting a nice fat paycheck for doing so. Figuring some more credits saved up to get a bigger pub in general wouldn't be bad, he took the job and set out the next day.
It wasn't even a solar week before he heard news of the attack on the Citadel.
While the bodyguard job wasn't as easy as expected, as Blue Suns attacked in hopes of claiming the data the scientists were coming up with (it turned out they were doing some Prothean digging, but turned up nothing but minerals in the end) and while no one was injured or killed, it did make the job be ended fairly sooner than expected due to a combined effect of no Prothean ruins or artifacts dug up and the fact that more than one Blue Suns group was sent in to take over the site. After getting paid, he didn't rush to get back to the Citadel, for he was afraid of what he would find...and his fears were confirmed: his pub got Reaper'd.
When Sovereign was destroyed, some of it landed on his pub, which thankfully he didn't have anything too rare in, save a few types of alcohol he had for special occasions. While he had a nice fortune available to just leave it all behind, or even just build a new pub, he decided to do something else with his credits - he donated it all to assist in the repairs and cleaning up of the remains of Sovereign and to fixing up the Citadel. Of course, when there was talk that it was a Reaper that caused it, something worse than geth, he was interested and noticed that the talk was being hushed very quickly...and he knew something was brewing when it was being hushed quickly.
After some digging, he found that it was Commander Shepard and Admiral Anderson who were some of the heavy hitters saying the Reapers were real, and knowing what they had done, chose to believe them, all while stowing away what of Sovereign he could discretely claim to study. While this meant he was rather broke, he had more time for free-lancing jobs, and started to build up his fortune once more that way, though always double-checking what the job was since he wasn't told the fateful one was over supposed Prothean ruins.
Fast forward to the events of Mass Effect 2, and he's got a new pub, though sadly more of a bar than anything by this point. With the new additions to weapons and armor, he's had to modify his load-out a bit, tweaking his armor to keep up with the times with what he's learned studying what bits of Reaper debris he stashed and had to spend hard-earned credits - as well as sell out information and do under-the-table deals, much to his disappointment - to get new weapons, as his old pistol and sniper rifle were obsolete by that time, as maintenance and such for weapons were of newer models, not of the same models his trusty weapons were of. He still keeps them around on his ship (one more fortune he dropped, even though it's more of a custom-built home of a ship than anything, fitted to just sustain him when going places) and only uses them when he has to, as he would rather they not break down and be unusable at a bad time. With this in mind, he's gotten a new pistol and sniper rifle, though with the events that have come about, he's gone for a bit of a more lethal route: a Carnifex and a Viper.
To say the least, C-Sec has complained less about cleaning up blood everywhere and more on asking that he let C-Sec handle the issues instead of him going for ending the issues himself. When asked for the change, he usually shrugs, though rarely gives people the honest answer, it being that "when information is hidden, lives can be lost over it; just like giving one too many chances - you risk your own life, and those of others, if you hand them out like free drinks."

Prototype HELIX v2 Armor
This sucker is built to last - Duralast style! Not really, but it's pretty stout, to the point one would expect this to be heavy-style armor for a krogan, not medium-style for a turian. Using what he has uncovered studying the remains of Sovereign that he managed to collect, he's been able to boost his shields and protective ratings to a larger scale than traditional armors are at, while also enabling him to be injured less painfully should the shields be blown to high hell. He carries plenty of medi-gel on him for those emergency cases of said shields being blown to high hell, and he's going up against counter-snipers...or krogan. He's not that great at head-butting them yet.
He's also, for some reason, decided to change the coloration to it - possibly to gain more personal meaning, and to be confused a lot less with C-Sec. It's a primarily white-silver colour, with blue as the secondary colour (as shown with the profile picture), though it still doesn't change the fact that it's still kind of odd regardless.
M-6 Carnifex
This is what one would call a 'magnum' if there ever was one - it's also a reason why people question him over the new lethal approach to problems. One would wonder why he swapped from a pistol that had lethal power, but could be used to subdue people, to a literal definition of a 'hand cannon' or 'heavy pistol' instead, but he usually shrugs or states that it "gets his point across fairly well". He's modified it to have more stopping power than it normally gets, and has managed to reduce the recoil a little, but it's still pretty stout and his personal choice for most situations. Despite him being efficient in using it in medium- to close-range combat cases, he has been known to employ it in long-range battles with deadly efficiency, sometimes bringing into question why he carries the sniper rifle in the first place.
He's also, for some reason, taken a liking to threatening to pistol whip problems, figuring that 70% of them can be solved that way. Almost to the point he'd consider fighting the Reapers that way, since a strike from a heavy-arse hand cannon can be almost as effective as a bullet that can shatter heads - also saves on ammo, which may be one more reason why he seems too different from normal turians. He may as well have been born a krogan by that point.
M-97 Viper
In comparison to his old sniper rifle, one would no doubt wonder why he chose a less-powerful replacement instead of a more accurate replacement, like a Mantis. In truth, he finds the semi-automatic rate of fire, the rather large clip, and the fact it's rather light-weight to a degree to be good enough to make up where it lacks to the old sniper rifle - not to mention it works as a perfect counter-balance to his heavy, slower but more hard-hitting pistol. One thing he's grateful with this new sniper rifle, however, is the lack of explosive rounds; they were nice for dealing with problems back in the day, but there was always the risk of accidentally pulling the trigger...and that would have been bad - with the replacement, there was no worry of that happening.

Naru_Itimagi - Got anything to add to it all, be it pointers, facts, or other tidbits, feel free to fire away with them! I'll listen!! Just...don't fire them with High Explosive Rounds - I've seen what those do. Also, this profile is still under construction, so do check back often! I may have things patched up or have new info added.
