Major features: Velin is a tall, powerfully built cripple of a man that basically re-built parts of his own body from stone. The top right half of his face, from just behind the tip of his snout to the edge of his jaw, is built entirely from a murky emerald, complete with channels that act as veins that can be seen from the outside (these look like near-black lines running through the emerald). This crystalline growth attached to the bone has multiple growths on it, both to simulate his missing teeth and to act as a lens that goes over his damaged right eye (the eye itself is still organic, it just doesn't see very well these days). The lens prevents Velin from blinking with his right eye.

His arms are in much the same state, with the left being re-forged in emerald from the elbow down, while the right had to be replaced whole-sale, including the shoulder socket and joint. The "bone" gem can be seen through his translucent "skin," a shade darker than the rest of the gem in his arms. All of these replacement parts appear to be articulated, and have mobility somewhere in between that of a mechanical prosthetic limb, and a normal organic one. These crystalline prosthetics include the small arm fins that are typically associated with shark-morphs.

Items: A partially-ethereal cane he carries around, and amulet that is sentient and which takes control of him while he sleeps (holds the soul of his former master), and a notebook of indeterminate origin.

Abilities: 3.5/ Pathfinder Psion with the Shaper specialization. So... a lot of things. Oh, and a bit of alchemist (the concept, not the class) and geomancer thrown in there for good measure. Basically, all of this adds up to making inorganic items, bombs and being able to swim through the friggen floor. Landshark style.
