Vesper

"I had a little... growing up to do. But I'd say I filled out nicely~ Wouldn't you?"

Vesper is a demoness. That much is clear.

She used to be much more humanlike in appearance, mimicking them and enjoying the idea of being a cute, curvy version of an ideal beauty once upon a time, who won hearts, broke them swiftly upon the ground, and lavished in the anguished remains thereof. Anger, confusion, discord... to her they were just delicious. There was nothing a good demoness would like better than the suffering of humans before laying claim over their bodies and souls, right? To live in sin, and love it. But a conundrum did hit Vesper after a few years...

She looked human. But humans were pathetic, right? No matter how much she could justify it, she was modeling herself after something like cattle to us, and she began to worry about becoming some sort of sappy story of a demon lady being the scourge of humankind, looking entirely like one, and being wooed by a dashing knight, or nerdy but good intentioned high school boy to become a superpowered girlfriend for some broke manga writer to make a buck off of.

The mere thought alone made her shudder.

She casts off that idea of what to do and what to be now. She's not trying to impress anyone, trying to win more souls, or cause any more discord than she need go out of her way to do. And in doing so, let loose that humanistic notion and humanoid look, letting herself blossom into the demon that she really was meant to be- still beautiful, still alluring, but certainly of her own flavor, as opposed to pretending to be something others would find more attractive. As it turns out, it only makes her more attractive, like any truly fatal demon can be. She's certainly not above toying with the petty affairs of man, or warding off the occasional angered heroine or general rude person with a discharge of deep purple lighning, but she's... certainly become more lax about it now.

Maturity does that to a girl.
