"Eh? Whaddayawant?" - Violet, woman of many words


Dragons, the ancient, magical, vicious beasts of old. Nigh-immortal, they see themselves as the most powerful beings around, particularly those who are considered ancient even among their ageless peers. Immense, powerful, and above all proud, dragons are a well-known threat to all mankind.

Which is why it was a rather interesting sight, around 400 years ago, when an immense lamia attacked, raped, devoured and digested one of these ancient beasts as it lay siege to a castle. Nine months later, Violet was born, a mixture of snake, dragon and woman.

Physically, Violet more resembles her lamia ancestry, though there are several key indicators of her draconian father. Her powerful, clawed hands, her polished horns, the ability to breathe fire and her dense scales all indicate she's stronger than the average lamia. In addition, she has some level of innate magical ability, though the snakewoman honestly has little idea how to use it correctly, winding up simply sticking with small spells. Finally, there is the matter of her size. Born of an immense lamia and an ancient dragon, she's a true giantess, 10 metres to head to hip, and a dozen times that in tail.

She is a decently friendly woman, provided you can get to know her before you get to know her guts. Having been left to her own devices when she was very young, she soon gained a dislike of most humanoids, her size and species having been enough to warrant various adventurers looking to slay the beast. Lucky, even as a child she was large enough to take down the odd hero, and had begun experimenting with simply swallowing them in her teenage years. Centuries later, Violet's colossal size and isolated nature have simply led most to steer clear of her home, and not risk aggravating the giantess. While she dislikes most humanoids, she is admittedly a bit lonely, and would certainly enjoy company if they managed to convince her not to snap them down.

Violet's home is a cave, one she actually built into a mountainside herself. Her immense, clawed hands proved very effective at digging, Violet tearing into the stone to form a home for herself, creating an immense cave system over years and years, her furniture and such all being carved by her claws, using the leftover stone from her excavations. Admittedly, it is a bit lacking in decor, and one effective way of actually surviving long enough to talk to Violet would be to bring some kind of offering for her cave. The cave is split into several areas, each connected via a main hallway. There is a primitive kitchen, a bedroom, a form of study, and a bathroom... which is more a large, underground lake the lamia discovered in her digging.

Her magical studies have given her a few spells of her own, mostly blasts of lightning and ice, along with growth and shrink spells, mainly for the odd intruder that could actually match her size. Mostly, the lamia is searching for more advanced magic tomes to learn from... hopefully larger ones, considering her size.



She's big, strong, beautiful, and also kinda cold. She also would like a friend.
