She is the victim of a hereditary curse that was once used to allow her family to perform their duties as assassins for the noble houses, however the recent change in trend among the upper echelon has turned the once-gift into a veritable nightmare. Unwilling to remain in their home, where their enemies were closing in around them, they made one last direct use of this ability to allow Viria to slip free of the net, though they were forced to remain behind so that the nobles would not hunt for any member, thinking that they had gotten them all. For Viria, she was understandably sad that her family had died, and while she did wish for revenge, what she needed in order to carry out such a large scale plan was enough money and equipment to break the lines of defense, and a way to defeat what she has come to consider a curse. The first were rather easy, as she seemed to have a sixth sense when it comes to who has gold and the traps guarding such, but the latter is a lot more difficult, as the curse has attached itself firmly to her as she is the only remaining member with such an ability. So, she has set out on a quest for powerful magical curse removal in the hopes of ridding herself of the one thing she considers to be truly problematic.
