Vivian is first and foremost a martial arts purist. She believes that discipline and one's finest fighting form comes from perfecting a chosen martial art. Blending of forms and styles is strictly forbidden to Vivian's way of thinking. It would be blasphemy to mix kung fu, taekwondo, karate or any other form or style together. To this end, the young English woman traveled to China to learn Shaolin Kung Fu and has spent years mastering it and perfecting her body.
While in China Vivian also learned several other things, one of those a dark and forbidden art. It is one she learned to rid the world of those who are impure and debase the martial arts by blending these various styles. She has learned to swallow people whole. When the temple found out she had been learning and practicing these abilities, they banished her.
After being banished from the temple, Vivian returned to England and sought to make a name for herself. She entered various tournaments and destroyed them. Yet, she couldn't finish off those fighters she deemed unworthy, they left the tournaments and went on to keep fighting. She was angered, leaving the last tournament and walking the streets. Someone who had seen her fight decided they wanted a piece of the young woman. They never got close to touching her. Impressed by her skill, the other fighter suggested she should get into street fighting. Here she continued to excel and she has met many other amazing fighters, some others who were not so great, but here she could also finish a fighter in her choosing if they lost.
She stopped entering sanctioned tournaments and became a street fighter, travelling the world and fighting in these underground tournaments. She's been making fantastic money and it all serves to perfect her style, she learns from losses and wins, more so from the losses. She takes her beatings graciously so long as the person practices a single art. If they are a mixed martial artist though, the loss becomes a vendetta and one that can only be made right by one fighter's death and Vivian is still here and fighting.
