Vixen is a very stubborn girl who still hasn't quite grown out of her rebellious teenage phase. Ever since she was young, she'd been obsessed with the things that go 'bump' in the night-- especially vampires. This only reinforced her growing fascination with the fantasy kink of vampirism; to imagine herself as one of these vampires who lures in strong, attractive men and overpower them and consume their blood.

Of course, for Vixen's world, that would never be the case. She relentlessly searched for ways to appease her interests, playfully biting guys in bed... She once bit a fellow so hard that she drew blood. It promptly ruined their moment; he was upset and she was left alone and aroused with the faintest taste of blood on her lips. She spent the majority of her adolescent years searching for a place for her kinks to be properly explored. That was when she met someone on an online forum who claimed to be interested in the same things she was, though they were interested in being the male portion that she'd been looking for.

One can imagine her delight upon meeting someone who shared her interests. All her life, Vixen felt weird and out of place for what she was into, but this individual made her feel like she was perfectly okay for liking what she did. They quickly became fast friends and talked every day whenever they could. Eventually, Vixen pressed the person to meet up. Reluctantly, they agreed and set up a date.

Vixen was convinced that she was meeting the guy of her dreams. The date soon came for her to meet up with who she thought was a guy that liked everything she did. She had made sure this person had little travel to do and flew to their city all the way across the country to meet him in a coffee shop local to his area. It was a quaint little indie place, not anywhere stupid like Starbucks. Still, Vixen felt out of place there. She sat in the corner with her laptop by a window, constantly peering out and looking around for the face she came to accept was the man of her dreams.

Hours passed and he was nowhere to be found. At first, she thought perhaps he was just running a little late... Maybe he was having car trouble... She went through excuse after excuse for him in her head, and as the minutes drew on, she found herself fighting back the lump forming in her throat. She'd been stood up. She should have known better than to fly all the way here for some guy on the internet whose voice she'd never even heard before. Slowly, she put her laptop back in her messenger bag and slung it over her shoulder, and gave a half-hearted 'thanks' to the barista.

She made it outside and back to her hotel room she had checked into in hopes that she could coax him into bed with her to test out their fantasies. She stumbled into the room and immediately collapsed onto the bed in tears, promptly crying herself to sleep. When she awoke, her room was open and that someone had been using her computer... She was sure she had left it in the bag and off, but it was on the desk with a bright purple glow lighting up the room from the screen. She sat up, squinting at the bright light from the bed to see what was on the screen... It didn't look like anything other than just purple.

Frowning, she stood and meandered over to the desk, sitting herself down in the chair. As soon as she did, text began to etch across the screen.

"Feeling alone is not a walk in the park. Press 'A' to take a step out of the dark."

Confused, Vixen tried shutting her computer off, but nothing happened. She tried alt+tab, ctrl+alt+delete, even attempted to take the battery off of her computer... Nothing worked. The screen wouldn't go away. With a frown, she pressed the 'A' key and the light vanished. She blinked, trying to force her eyes to adjust to the new darkness. Then a new light appeared, this one blue. She saw in her screen what looked like... A small park. She squinted and attempted to zoom in, but she was only given this one vantage point.

A new line of text spread across the screen

"You don't have to feel so alone; there are plenty like you in your new home."

Swearing under her breath, she decided she was dreaming and that her subconscious sucked at rhyming. She rolled her eyes and turned away, but then felt an odd pull back towards her computer. She tried harder to step further away and distance herself from her laptop, but the pulling wouldn't stop. In fact, it only grew stronger. She was clinging onto the bed-post, the pull of her laptop's screen making it difficult to keep her grip. Her legs dangled behind her in the air, grip slipping. Crying out, she fell, and was pulled into her computer's screen.

That was how she made it into this world. She was alone and afraid. It took her two years to learn that this was no dream. There was no waking up from this place, and here, despite having dreamt herself predatory, she found she was definitely one of the weaker beings and that she had to be careful where she stepped.
