Vorality

A naughty, exciting vorish game show, and a concept by Girlcollection.

Vorality is a fancy, kinky TV show that features various rounds or challenges that a number of candidates need to overcome. In many cases, they might find themselves on the menu and get devoured, only to be digested into nutritious paste, true to the name: a Vorish Fatality, or shorter "VORALITY".

The bi-weekly produced show usually invites five candidates to participate, the lucky ones able to compete drawn in a raffle. Because the prize money for completion of all rounds is half a million bucks, there is no shortage of voluntary participants that enter by applying via an online application. Furthermore, to spice it up, the games are selected from a pool of options each time, and apart from two regular hosts, the special guests invited to make things more interesting - and often, devour a candidate in case of their failure - change in each episode.

The two regular stars appearing in each episode, working as the hosts of the show, are a spunky, lively, demi-human redhead fox girl named Heather as well as a cute, sweet, blonde femboy named Pearl. (Your character could either enter the show as participant in the games, or as one of the guests invited over, depending if you'd rather be pred, or prey.)

General, History:

It was actually one of the current hosts, Heather, that had developed the idea for this vorish show. As a child, she loved seeing various game shows on TV, especially those where a number of candidates compete with eath other in different rounds, trying to advance to the final and win. She wanted to do something similar - and by pure chance, the parents of a fellow student were working for a TV channel.

The idea she presented to them was deemed rather good, and the studio decided to try it out. For a year now, the show has been airing and is going strong, achieving good quotas and high popularity. Every two weeks, one episode is produced. In normal shows, five randomly chosen candidates are invited for the competition, as well as some special guests, usually between two and four. They are often celebrities or people you know from TV, or just someone catching the attention of the studio for some reason.

A lot of the various games played end with a candidate being devoured and digesting in someone's insides. That is not a secret, to the contrary, many of the viewers love the vore aspect of the show. Vorality takes place in a world and society where vore is common, and people act relatively casual about it - fun to watch such naughty things, as long as you're not the one in danger. Most are not eager to sizzle away to sludge and end up jiggling on someone's body (as well as the messy 'exit' from a pred's backside), so the candidates usually only participate because they hope to win the grand prize - although some are loving the thrill, the attention, or are even willingly going down.

The Games / Procedure of the show:

In the "normal" format, five candidates are invited to the show. They compete in several rounds, until only one is left, who then plays the final round in order to try and win the half million as prize money. For each show, they also have a number of special guests present. Sometimes they just comment, but often, they either actively participate in the games, or are responsible for consuming and digesting a candidate if they drop out.

At the start, the hosts welcome everyone to the show, explain the format of that day, and briefly go over the rules again. After the introduction, the candidates sign the formal contracts - the producers of the show need to protect themselves from getting sued afterwards. Each contract clearly states what might happen, the candidates have to declare that they enter voluntarily, and that they or their bereaved will not take legal action. They also get reminded that usage of violence, or vore, against fellow candidates or staff members (unless specifically allowed as part of a game), is prohibited and will result in their immediate disqualification. As safety precaution after an unlucky incident in a show a while back, all staff members and special guests are given reforming devices as a "just in case" safety measure. Of course, the participants don't get such a device - they are putting their life on the line.

Directly after the explanation, the first round starts. Usually, this is just a game of "Fate". Out of the five, one candidate gets randomly selected and eliminated. The unlucky person may actually choose who should gobble them up, either one of the hosts, the special guests, or even another candidate! The predator and the (un)lucky dropout head over to a nice, cozy, private room. If the candidate wishes and the pred consents, they are free to have some fun (yes, that mainly means sex) first, but eventually, the candidate gets consumed. While the drop-out digests, either the special guests or the hosts do some interviews with the remaining four candidates. There actually is a livestream of the show that you can watch on the net, but for Television, they later cut out some scenes to condense the film material into a two or three hour broadcast.

The second round follows - "Luck". This can have several variants, but in either case, the candidates have to find or choose the correct path that ins't resulting in them gurgling away in a pred's stomach. This can be a maze they have to go through (either with predefined paths, or not), a slide or door they have to select, or similar. In case of pre-defined paths, usually there is one more path than candidate, so at this point, five paths for four people. Each path can only be taken once, and behind one of them, a gurgly fate awaits. In case of open paths, the special guests might roam the maze in order to try and catch someone. In any case, the regulations say that a maximum of one candidate can be dropping out per round, so as soon as the first one botches it, the rest just passes the round. On rare occasions, it might happen that everybody avoids being devoured, and that's perfectly fine, after all, it's not guaranteed that all the candidates get churned.

The third round is "Popularity". There is a voting of the viewers, determining who they'd like to see and continue, and it's possible to name more than one. The one getting the least score is eliminated and gets nommed, though he or she may wish for who they'd like to end up in.

The fourth round is another round of "Luck", same as above. This means, that after the fourth round is concluded, at least two of the five candidates are eliminated, and potentially up to four.

If more than one candidate remains (so either in one or both of the luck rounds, nobody failed), there is a fifth round to determine who may play the final round. The fifth round is "Knowlege" - a quiz where the candidates have to answers questions (often vore-themed ones), collecting points for correct answers. The one with the most points advances to the final. Interestingly enough, those that reached this state but don't make it to the final are actually safe - unlike before, they don't get devoured. The show producers found out that if the odds of getting churned are too high, they don't get enough volunteers, so this possibility of non-vorish elimination is a straw to grasp for, if you can't make it to the final.

Finally, the last and final round, the conclusion of the show and the chance for a candidate to cash in big. This round is about "Wits" - they are presented with a certain challenge someone wants to do (almost always a vore-centered one a pred is gonna try), and then have to say if they think it's possible, or not. For example, a predator might say they can manage to hold three people in their stomach at the same time, or gulp down a prey in less than three minutes, or stuff like that. If the candidate gets the answer correct (the prediction fits), then they win the prize money and fame. But if they are wrong - then they become food for someone on the show, the climax being their digestion.

Roleplay Notes, Methods to use this:

This concept can be used for a multi / group rp, but just as well, it's suitable for a private scene between two rp writers. In case of the later, other characters of Girlcollection or Girlcollection_Alt can fill in for the rest of the candidates. It's no problem to play more than one, although the details might be skimmed over a bit more then. The character that you, or other rp partners play, can either be one of the contestants, or one of the special guests, depending if you'd rather have your char as pred, or as prey.

For the games, we can either use a completely dice-based system (pure luck without a set result), or actually determine the outcome beforehand - or a mixture of both. Maybe saying that your character at least makes it to the final / quiz, or something like that. This concept is meant to be flexible in it's usage! We can also discuss who the special guests should be (or even change around the hosts, if you don't like them at all). This is a concept that can be adapted to that it's suitable for someone's wishes and preferences. For anything else, please ask me about it!

(Feel free to ask questions or to whisper me if you are unsure about something or want to discuss an RP, mostly I am quite open minded. Worst thing that might happen is me saying I either got no time or no interest at the moment - 2 rps at the same time is about my maximum, more just feel rushed and stressed. Points not listed under preferences normally indicates I am indifferent about it, of course we can talk over it OOC. By the way... If I suddenly vanish its with 95% probability an internet / connection issue. Images dont belong to me.... if asked I will remove them promptly.)
