Vrynira

Vrynira's people once shared the planet with humans, whom they saw as inferior and weak, nothing but food to be consumed, but the predatory and warlike species was eventually outpaced by human technological development, and eventually forced to the brink of extinction, hunted and reviled. Slowly they were relegated to the realm of myth and legend, but a small population manages to eke out a meager existence in the inhospitable deserts of the world.

Vrynira is 75 years old, which makes her not yet even middle-aged by the standards of her people (who will live to be 200 or more on occasion). She was imbued with a special hatred for humans as a small child, as she witnessed her mother and father captured and then butchered by soldiers, who laughed as they swung the machetes. As she got older, she advocated retribution more and more vocally, until she was faced with a grave decision by the Council Of Elders: Cease her rabble-rousing, or face Exile. With wordless fury, she strode from the Council Chambers and straight out the gates of her village, never looking back.

Vrynira is not exceptionally tall for her race, but still towers over any human, standing at 10 feet 4 inches. However her backwards facing ankles cause her to naturally slouch a little, meaning she normally appears about 9 feet even. She is immensely strong, and despite rumors about her species being nothing but dumb animals, she is quite intelligent. She is knowledgable about a great number of subjects, from mathematics to astronomy to basic engineering. However, she is not adept at using technology more advanced than, say, a bow and arrow, or a waterwheeled mill.

She no longer has the blind hatred and loathing for humans as a species, having witnessed (and experienced) the good nature of many. However, she still distrusts them by default, and she is still a predator by nature. She will not hesitate to set upon a human and devour them, usually after fucking them senseless.
