// Personality
A friendly and cheerful fairy that can often come across as a somewhat timid person, sometimes to the point of being docile. When interacting with others, is more likely to remain passive and go with the flow. He enjoys a prank every so often, though at least learned restraint from living with humans. Lacks much in the way of genuine self-preservation or a proper understanding of death, on account of his resurrective immortality and nature as an elemental embodyment making him immune to permanent death.

He generally leans heavily on the flight side of 'fight or flight' and prefers to avoid death whenever possible, though mainly because he finds it to be "not exactly the most enjoyable experience". Nevertheless, he considers allowing himself be eaten then reforming and escaping while the attacker is sleeping/distracted to be a viable, if unappealing, last resort strategy to be avoided at all costs. Keeps his immortality secret from others not already familiar with it, to avoid people attempting to exploit it.

Due to the rest of his kind being remarkably stupid, he normally prefers to stay around humans as much as possible as the comedy potential of stupidity wears thin eventually. However, he tends to be more comfortable around females than males regardless of race due to Gensokyo fairies being (in his experience) predominantly female. While more intelligent than normal fairies, closer to human average, he's still fairly simple-minded and easy to distract at times.

While actually called Vulcanalia, he uses the name 'Vulcan' and thinks his full name is far too silly to be taken seriously, despite not remembering where the alternate name even came from.

// Appearance
A slender and feminine fairy with shoulder length red hair and red eyes. As a fairy, he also has pointed ears and glowing translucent red wings (which are not solid, usually hover a few inches above his clothes and can be hidden at will). Usually favours blue jeans and red shirts.

Normally appears at roughly 4'0" or 5'4" in height by default, he can become change size at will but can only vary between 1 inch to 6 foot.

Born from fire in Gensokyo, lived in the Human village for at least 19 years before falling through a hole in the ground ("Goddammit, Yukari!" anyone?) while exploring and ending up somewhere else. Currently exploring his new world while looking for a way back.
