With the power of shadows, it produces arcane phenomena. It prefers to eat food raw and is particularly hostile towards Wixen.

Katress Can be found wandering the Palapagos islands at night, in dark caves or for those brave enough, in the Sealed Realm of the Invicible. When Wandering outside the Realm they may be alone or in groups, sometimes if enough gather they will preform rituals, one noted one is similar to the human ritual of Walpurgis. It may be dangerous to approach these groups, unless onei s well protected, or has their own Katress. Bringing a Wixen will invite chaos.

Reports of Katress Ignis species exist, They may be found on the newly discovered Sakurajima Islands

Katress is about the size of an average human, excluding the alpha varient which is about 9-10ft tall. It allegedly may use this to slip into towns an a more humanoid guise when it finds something of interest, especially grimoires containing rare spells. This has mostly been observed to those outside the Palapogos Islands as within the islands civilization is sparse.

Katresses are avid collectors of tomes, grimoires, scrolls and books, this fact may both endanger you if you find yourself alone at night carrying such, or save you and befriend the fickle feline witch if you offer them to a wild Katress. It is unsure if Katress can read these or just inherently understand the magic within them, further research is needed.

For similar reasons as grimoires, Katress are naturally drawn to those with magical skills and abilities, they may actively seek out mages and witches to learn from them. Reports from thosse with cotnact outside the islands state Katress appear reserved and almost bratish in nature initially, but are quite shy and bookish under this facade.

It has been Observed Katress may not understand interactions such as shops initially, often enterign them and demanding a good or service, but can be taught, they can pick up these skills quickly. They may even become adventurers if without a tamer.

Other tips for surviving encounters with Katress, offer food, they do indeed prefer raw foods, or cold foods, and it is best to meet them early morning near sunrise. Ensure you are protected, preferably with a pal and do not follow a katress if bid into the dark night alone...

Katress naturally know Dark skills and a few fire related ones, but can learn many more through skill fruits, or grimoires, even true magic spells, unlike many pals.

Remember, there are many Katress out there, and some may not be the same, but anyone is welcome to try and meet them be it on their islands or off.
