About Nino
In her debut, Nino started off as a 14-year-old magician belonging to the assassin group known as Black Fang. Despite being an assassin, she is described as innocent, sincere, and affectionate. Nino always tries her best to do things right and strives to meet people's expectations.
Nino was raised by a female Morph named Sonia, who kidnapped Nino when she was a baby and killed her parents and brother, making her life very difficult. During her childhood, Nino received a poor education, inadequate nutrition, and abuse, to the point where she couldn't read when she first arrived. She also had no friends until she joined the Black Fang, where she met the first people who treated her like a human being and showed her affection, gaining a lot of appreciation for Lloyd and Lunus in particular, although some members treated her as useless under Sonia's influence.
Nino cares deeply for others, as shown by her taking care of a wounded ally at the risk of her reputation. She is not shy, lacks manners, and doesn't mind if others lack them either, but she struggles to trust new allies after being rescued from the Black Fang. Some new allies were prejudiced against her due to her past with the criminal gang and Sonia, even calling her an imp with the face of an angel. However, she proves to have a good ability to make friends, forming a friendship with some of her new allies, like Rebecca and Florina.
Nino's strongest bond is with Jaffar, a deadly assassin from the Black Fang, who she managed to make feel an emotion for the first time in his life as he was just a killing machine before meeting her. After the events of the story she belongs to, she can end up with either Erk or Jaffar, and lives peacefully in Pherae for a while. However, her past affiliation with the Black Fang forces her to live as a fugitive, constantly evading bounty hunters. Nino values family greatly and longed to have one of her own. At the age of 20-21, she gave birth to twins, Raigh and Lugh, whom she cared for in their early childhood but sadly had to leave at an orphanage to protect them from bounty hunters. Since then, it remains unknown whether she is still alive.
She has short green hair with antennas, pale skin which gave her the nickname Pale Flower, blue eyes, and she is not very tall or corpulent. In her original game, Nino wears typical mage clothes, a purple cloak, a white blouse with a light blue coat, a white skirt, light blue boots, and a purple headband. In alternative versions, she can wear a Santa Claus costume, a dark outfit belonging to the kingdom of Embla, and an Assassin costume inspired by Jaffar, similar to her original outfit, except that the coat exposes her belly and the skirt is black.
Nino in RP
Nino's main role that I will adopt is being a Pred, but with a well-proposed scene, she can be Prey. Obviously, being here, I have to take on a voracious character with her. The environments where she lives are mainly medieval places, such as villages or nature, fortresses, among others.
Magic can be versatile and serve a plot purpose, so it's a matter of imagination to create a scene. She doesn't have a perverse character, she rarely takes a position of wanting to devour someone for pleasure, however, she certainly has a dark past, which can also mean the duality between her sweet character and her killer character.
The above description is for more generic scenes with characters that may be unrelated to her franchise. With Fire Emblem characters, the scenes can vary, and it's more a matter of discussing what is wanted, I am more open to that type of characters.
My roleplays focus on fiction and fantasy, not reality or real-life references, which are far from the intended interpretation and may be uncomfortable as they do not reflect who I am.
Skills
Initially, Nino lacks skill as a mage because she never received any training and couldn't even read, which is a basic requirement for studying magic. The only magic she could perform was by imitating her adoptive mother. However, Nino possesses a superior magical power compared to other magicians in her game. She is considered a prodigy with untapped potential, as she can even communicate naturally with unique talent spirits. With the right training, she can unleash her full potential.
As a sage, Nino gains the ability to use anima magic (native) and magical staves. She can cast various spells like Fire, Thunder, Elfire, as well as more advanced ones like Fimbulvetr and Giga Excalibur. With her staves, she can heal allies, inflict status ailments on enemies, and even transport or rescue allies. In her alternate versions, she can also use different types of magic and showcase her talent for both physical and magical damage by wielding deadly daggers.
Overall, Nino excels in most attributes, particularly in speed, skill, and luck. She possesses excellent magical power and resistance, although her defense and health points may be a bit lacking. However, her high evasion ability helps compensate for this weakness. Nino's constitution can also impact her potential, but with improvements, she can attack without sacrificing her stats.
Don't be surprised if I don't follow FE canon 100%, I'm looking to have fun, so I may make things up as I play.
Perma/Temp Log
Section dedicated only to friends or frequent roleplay buddies that enjoy this, I don't like to lose my characters, but if they enjoy it, I guess there's nothing wrong with that, since it doesn't affect me. Each roleplay world is independent.
After overcoming a very long dungeon, where her supplies ran out halfway through, she left the place hungry after completing it. She found Astolfo_FGO who offered to cook something for her in his cabin, but she was on the verge of fainting and couldn't resist and ended up eating the paladin whole. When Nino was sleeping and digesting the gentle paladin, the magic power inside her made Astolfo_FGO's soul separate from his body and manifest itself for a few days as a companion, only she could see him as a pink flame. Astolfo_FGO stayed with Nino for 16 days until his soul vanished (06-29-2024 to 07-14-2024).
