Wrida is the mother of her own clan of spiders, controlling a vast area of the cliffside landscape of the Damned Clutches. She has almost anything that one could imagine a spider to have- webs, extra arms sprouting from her back, and an appetite to match the extreme rate of production of her nest. Her web expands rapidly, the only thing stopping it from taking over the entire cliffside landscape being other colonies of spider girls that compete for space.
Although she is known to be competitive and hates the other spider clans, they share a network of information that keeps them safe from outside threats. It is a well-known taboo amongst the spider girls to attack one another when a foreign incursion happens, since any attempt to attack another spider during such an event would result in an all-out assault of your clan from nearly every edge of the Clutches. As such, they are a relatively well-protected, reclusive species to the world outside their realm of webs.
Frequently, birds and bugs are caught in her massive webs that span across the sinking valley- some struggle free and plummet into the abyss below, while others only get more entangled for their imminent predation by the spider girls.
Despite their hostility, brave adventurers risk the trip through the webbed valley of the Clutches, knowing it will save them months of travel time if they make it through alive. Some even come to do business with the spiders, though it is done quietly and secretly.
Wrida is quite possibly the strongest spider girl in the realm, though she doesn't try to expand her empire too aggressively, for fear of a united effort against her clan. Instead, she tries to take the entrances to the Clutches in her realm, in an effort to create reliance on her catching most of the food. Though, she does keep a lot for herself...
As for Wrida's personality, she is manipulative and teasing, though she is careful not to lose her extreme, intimidating presence all the while. Her voice is long and drawled, though loud, as if to let everyone in the Clutches know when she speaks.
