Apperance: Xavier is a rather frail gryph, his body holding a lithe and slim figure with barely any muscle definition to speak of, the most of it being hidden behind the ever so slight pudge that adorns his body. He is almost never seen without his spectacles, balanced carefully of his jet black beak as they bring out his shining gold eyes, the cat bird unable to see without them. He is covered from head to toe in snow white feathers and fur, the two meshing at around the waist as it forms a hybrid of avian from the waist up and feline from the waist down. The cat bird's wardrobe, while quite varied could be considered mostly cozy and in a sense nerdy, full of turtlenecks,button up shirts and, come more chilly weather goodies and sweaters.

History: Xavier is a true anomaly amongst his kind. Being a member of a species know for being some of the strongest and feared predators in the world, Xavier is suprisingly weaker and more docile than his origins would suggest. He was the runt of the litter from birth, born weak and frail, a terrible combination for a growing predator. Despite his parent's best attempts to help him connect with his kind, the little gryph was always the oddball amongst predators, often becoming a laughingstock and the target of teasing and harrassment from his stronger kin. Where others would hurt and hunt down the weak, the feathery feline would help and protect them. Growing up, his view of predators and their ways continued to sour, the gryphon finding himself connecting more and more with the supposedly meek and defenseless prey his kind hunted mercilessly. Though he always tried to remain hopeful and optimistic that maybe his fellow predators weren't as horrible as he thought, experience quickly proved him wrong time and time again... He started to grow more sheltered and introverted, isolating himself from his brethren. Even now, he still finds himself paranoid amongst his own kind, knowing fully that he could just as easily become a victim of the predator's of the world.
