Meet Xethos! He's a 100 year old Riding dragon.
His story is a bit of a long one (hey, he's a 100 years old!). It started when he was living in a tribe of Wild Ice dragons. One day, Riviera, The wild Jungle girl, happened across this Tribe while on her Travels. hiding in a nearby bush, she reasoned that she could use one of these dragons as a mount, it'd be easier to search when she didn't have to do all the walking. that being said, capturing a dragon could potentially prove fatal. she, however, didn't have to wait long to have her chance.
three days after the jungle beauty set up camp, tragity struck the peaceful dragon tribe. As sick as it sounds, some dragons can be... cannibalistic, eating other dragons when they get hungry. A several thousand year old dragon fitting this type happened upon Xethos' tribe, and began to feast. Peaceful or not, they fought back, but to no avail. The large dragon left, content with his stomach full of smaller dragons, most dead, torn to pieces by the dragon's claws or teeth... yet others forced to bath in his stomach, alive, dying a slow, gruesome death...
Riviera watched all this in horror, going out to the area the dragons normally nested. disappointed, thinking she'd missed her chance, she heard some whimpering in a small forested area. in a clearing, out of sight of where the dragon had his rampage, she found Xethos, laying in a pool of his own blood, severely wounded. Treating him for his wounds, she laid claim to the dragon, even putting a collar on him. after crafting a saddle that could survive the moving of his scales, she mounted her dragon, and set off into the sunset...
Personality:
As stated above, this Dragon has a Fear of being ambushed, especially by other dragons. getting eaten is also low on his priority list, but by all means, eat if that's what you want. want a Romantic ride with a special someone? he'll hardly say no. all alone and want a slightly sexier ride? he'll jump at the chance, if he's in the mood. he's not big on it, but he could transport you to your destination with you in his stomach, as well. but don't expect him to digest you unless ya mistreat him, or if you ask him for the full body tour if he's really hungry.
