tl;dr: hails from the tengu mainland; only son of a clan with rights to the throne. his family wanted him to vie for the throne, but he had no interest in it. after attempting for decades to strongarm him into doing their bidding, xevro forsook his family and abandoned his homeland, instead resolving to live his life as a drifter. he had always wanted to travel and experience the modern world, as tengu society is incredibly closed off.

the outside world was exactly what he'd wanted, and not having his clan lording over him and his decisions left him able to run as wild as he wanted. what was once a man trained in diligence, discipline, and decency had become one of depravity, debauchery, decadence. xevro relished in his freedom, though he knew that if his family ever managed to catch wind of him that they'd force him to give it all up.
