Nanako isn't exactly your typical otaku, but she is a bit proud of her craft of cosplaying, and tends to get easily offended if people find faults in her outfits. Honestly, though, she sometimes doesn't acknowledge much of the source material when putting the costumes together... For example, despite the fact that she's been stuck looking like Yoko Littner from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan, it doesn't mean that she's very knowledgeable about the show. In fact, she mostly did the cosplay based on the amount of fanservice for Yoko there was and the simple fact that walking around dressed in such a fashion would turn a few heads. Does this make her seem like a good person to other anime fans? Probably not, but it does yield results! After all, it's hard to miss a 6'7" girl with flaming red hair and curves like that!

Though there are the occasional few that challenge her craft, and... Well, they don't last long. She's not beyond dragging some little smart-ass otaku aside and gulping them down should they get snippy with her, or start trying to press her on the details of her cosplay too much. Hell, she gets even more temperamental with those that accuse her of lacking the proper 'character' for Yoko, given her limited understanding of the show. Better watch what you say, or you, too, could end up sliding into one of the girl's orifices with little chance of coming back out.

Of course, she's only as strong as one may expect a girl of her stature to be, really, with a bit of additional strength built up from her tendency to eat others (but, mostly, this is for the sake of lifting and carrying, and had no real combat purpose). She could easily be taken down by something that's beyond human in combat capability.
