Yuki, a rather strange, unusual being that roams around Nexus and the wilderness. It is hard to precisely define what manner of creature the girl is - some characteristics resemble dangerous spirits that are able to manifest a physical body, others are completely obscure. In japanese folklore, there exist stories about 'snow women', Yuki-Onna (sometimes also written as Yuuki-Onna) that live in the coldest regions and need the warmth of living beings as food source. While Yuki has a number of notable differences compared to those mythological Youkai (Japanese name for supernatural beings), some traits seem to be true for her as well.
One can not even be sure if this is her real name, since most likely she somehow gotten to like the sound of it and chose it for herself, but the being always speaks of her as 'Yuki', or often refers to herself as 'snow queen' (or 'snow queen Yuki', if she feels fancy).
Yuki resembles a slender, cute girl in her late teenage years, with modest and delicate curves and a strikingly beautiful face; and her height is somewhat tall for a woman. Her skin is pale and immaculate, looking more perfect than it should be possible. The elegant lines defining her contours add to that effect, and leave quite some observers of her awestruck, despite the girl not having a busty or curvy body. Her long, silky hair is colored in white, with maybe a slight tint of silver mixed into it. Yuki's eyes are of a light blue, and give anybody who gazes into them the eerie feeling of gazing into a deep lake, while in return the snow queen looks directly into their very soul. As one can guess, Yuki's favorite color is white, and thus almost all her attire she wears is white as well. Quite often, even while walking outside during winter, she dresses in light, sparse clothes. She also likes to wear jewelery from time to time, choosing light-colored ones. All in all, Yuki emits the effect of being nigh perfect and of nearly divine, ethereal beauty.
While it does help her to lure someone in, appear charming and seductive, her looks are completely deceiving. Yuki is an old, powerful and dangerous being, very much unlike the petite, attractive, cute girl she seems to be. Her age can only be guessed, as she herself never mentions it, but she has been around a few centuries at minimum. While her body is indeed made of flesh and bone, it is nevertheless peculiar and special. She does not physically age, is completely resistant to cold and harmful weather conditions, and Yuki also has vorish abilities. To sustain herself, she needs nutrients for her body and energy for her powers, both of which can be found in living beings. With easy, she can devour and process creatures up to double her size and weight, and drain someone of their life energy.
The order in which she does this, and if she takes both nourishment forms from one victim at all, depend on her current situation. By giving someone a close embrace and a kiss, she slowly sucks out a person's essence and soul, a rather unpleasant, painful and distressing experience where her prey feels like their insides are violently ripped out and replaced with ice, freezing them. In general, her touch can bring shivers down someone's spine, the effect controllable by Yuki - it can be a mild chill, or outright frostbite. Sometimes the snow queen drains someone before feasting on the corpse, sometimes she swallows her prey whole and alive, only to absorb the essence after the body gets digested, and occasionally, she only uses one method at all. Nevertheless, she is highly dangerous - she is as beautiful as she is deadly and merciless.
That does not mean Yuki is cruel - every being normally has the impulse of self-preservation. She absolutely needs live prey to continue existing, and thus, she acts out of habit and instinct. Cold-hearted, without any real sympathy, taciturn and a true loner, she roams through the vast area that is the Nexus, looking for wanderers who get lost, travellers that go alone and everybody else she finds in a favorable position. To prevent someone from directly running off, Yuki shortly acts helpful or even seductive, but quickly and unceremoniously does what she needs to do. Since she does not devour others for some kind of kinky personal pleasure, a rush of power, or the thrill, she mostly acts casual about it, not really talking much to her prey and just putting her plan into motion. Because of her nature and lifestyle, Yuki is also not really sexually active, and while she is not asexual, it's not typical for her to make out with a target before she adds them to her diet. Lovers who tried getting intimate with her even sometimes had a terrifying realization - it is very possible for the snow queen to drain someone's soul, essence and energy through the private parts of her body.
As strong as she is, Yuki is by no means invincible or a powerhouse. The longer she fails to successfully catch prey, the weaker her powers get, her strength waning away. She is not extraordinarily strong, tough or quick, and just like she likes coolness, the girl hates and fears the heat - fire is extremly dangerous to her. This even means that the predatory being is quite vulnerable to being digested as well, as long as a predator who gobbles her up manages to fend of the cold she emits. Wolfing Yuki down would resemble swallowing a block of ice in one go - but in the stomach, she'd quickly melt and turn to sludge, unable to stand the warmth and sizzling acids.
