Personal Info
Imagination, something that inspires the mind to create beautiful visions of splendid impossibility and challenge those who wish to make it a reality. Many seem to lose this vivid gift as they slowly part from the simplicities of childhood and meet the responsibilities of life. The few who do manage to hang onto this ember of creativity often take up professions of art or creation. Zatanya is one of those individuals, but her method of creating art isn't constrained to a piece of paper. No, her canvas is indeed wherever she decides needs a splash of color and life. Zatanya is what many call a street artist, and unfortunately she can get in a bit of trouble depending on what surface she decides to paint. The young woman doesn't create anything scandalous or deviant, but instead loves to create beautiful vistas of life and color in otherwise drab and bland concrete jungles. Curiously enough, the art that she creates seems almost lifelike with detail and vibrance, and many have sworn they could simply jump into the wondrous scenes.
From birth Zatanya always seemed to have a passion for art as soon as she could grip a drawing utensil. Unfortunately her life as a child wasn't perfect. Growing up she often times used her drawing and art as an escape from the regular arguing and turbulence her mother and father went through on a nearly daily occurrence. More than one night she would hear screaming outside her room door accompanied by the occasional shattering of a booze bottle or dinner plate against a wall here or there. Her mother was quite the heavy drinker and often went between jobs quite rapidly due to her nasty temper. Her father normally worked extremely long workweeks to try and support the family and often dealt with crippling depression which was only worsened by his ill temper which often was sparked by his wife's regular prodding and insults. For the most part Zatanya managed to block out the profanities and slurred threats through the years with her room being her safe haven from the negativity.
