Zeriah Binchiette is the head of a shipping corporation that she and her brother, Zexon Binchiette, inherited from their father upon his death. Zeriah moved back to Gridania after the Calamity to help rebuild her home nation, and mostly lets her brother take care of the day to day operations of the business, though she does help him when needed. Most of her time is spend at their free company's manor in the Lavender Beds.
Zeriah and Zexon were raised by Naoki and didn’t know Shino outside of occasional mentions from their mother. They were taught archery and to track beasts in the forests of the Shroud. Three years before the Calamity, they were reintroduced to their father, and started to learn the shipping trade. Around this time, Lieka and Ohi were transported from Vanadiel to Eorzea on Shino’s ship. He asked them to deliver a letter to his family in Gridania for him, and suggested they talk to them about a place to stay while they found a home. Zeriah and Zexon became fast friends with Lieka and Ohi. 6 months before the beginning of the Calamity, Shino died in a pirate attack on his ship. Zeriah and Zexon inherited the shipping company from his will, and when Dalamud started to descend from the heavens, Zeriah and Zexon took on the shipping company full time, avoiding Eorzea for a while.
During this time, Zeriah came across a pirate ship attacking a Limsan passenger ship. Zeriah ordered her ship to take up arms against the pirates, taking down their ship easily. The Limsan ship was a total wreck, and they only found one survivor amongst the wreckage, Yukiko Takahashi, who she took back to Gridania to live with her friends, who had worked with another mutual friend, Oopsy Hiero, to purchase a manor in the Lavender Beds. To this day, Zeriah keeps a tattered Limsan banner in her room as a reminder of her goals and ideals.
5 years after the calamity Zeriah moved back to Gridania to help rebuild, leaving Zexon to run the majority of the shipping company. She occasionally goes back to help when necessary.
Zeriah will either be commanding and dominating or meek and submissive depending on the personality of those she is with.
Zeriah is a tall (for her species) Miqo'te girl (Nekomimi for those not into FFXIV). She has amethyst eyes and blue hair with white highlights. She has a long hair tail with the same colors.
