□ Personality: Zigi is often times seen as cold, emotionless, and only being interested in the bigger picture, or whatever will benefit him, keeping his physical body safe. Although the bacteria is mostly in control, the human brain does have a subtle effect on decision making skills, and so against his "better" judgement, there are moments in which Zigi will act not entirely out of logic, but out of personal need. These are not moments of clarity, but rather "slip-ups"-- times where the bacteria's complete influence over the brain wavers. He has little concept of things like personal space, shame, or modesty, to the chagrin of human peers.

□ History: Zigi Bop was, for a very brief period, once a fairly average human child. Like most people, he had his quirks that made him different from others, but there was nothing extraordinary about him. Until one day, when his parents were out and his babysitter was fast asleep, young Zigi heard a strange bang out in the back yard. When he went to go look, he saw a very small crater, and a very small rock at the center of that crater. He didn't know it at the time, but he would later come to understand that it was no ordinary stone.. no, Zigi had stumbled upon the remains of a meteorite, which had almost entirely broken up in the planet's atmosphere. When he touched it, it was scalding hot, burning his poor hands to the point that he cried, cried for hours over his burns. The babysitter called his parents, and they rushed home.

But before his parents even got home, his burns would mysteriously disappear. Where they were once scorched and red and black, the skin peeled away and grew back, good as new.. no, better than before, softer somehow. Nobody could explain it. For the next couple of years after, strange things continued happening around Zigi. His hair changed to white. His eyes changed to a vacant, glossy yellow. During a staring contest with a group of friends, it was discovered that Zigi didn't blink any more-- when he asked his friends what the point of the competition was, and they told him, he simply asked "but why would I ever need to close my eyes?"

Years continued to pass. Young boys and girls had crushes on Zigi, and would ask him out, but he'd turn them down so quickly and so bluntly that he became known for giving others the cold shoulder. He simply had no interest in anything romantic, and realized he was too young to copulate. His parents, the most mortified by their child's strange behavior, were at the very least impressed by his academics; where once young Zigi had struggled in school, he suddenly became a prodigy, needing only to study for minutes at a time before fully comprehending a subject. Soon, he was skipping grades, excelling far past his peers. Years continued to pass.

At the ripe age of 14, something clicked in the boy's mind. Perhaps it was his accelerated thought process that allowed him to piece together the mystery. After all, just the night before, he had awoken to find that his entire arm had transformed into a fleshy, pink mass of writhing tendrils, and rather than being horrified by what would have been fuel for the nightmares of any normal person, he simply stared in curious disbelief as it quietly transformed back. Still, it's possible that, rather than piecing it together himself, the alien bacteria which had integrated into his physiology had simply decided, insomuch that a bacteria can make a decision on a genetic level, that Zigi could comprehend what was happening.. and thus, they might have just given the information to him, through mental stimuli. But it happened without any conceivable reason; one moment, he was unaware of the alien bacteria, the organisms that had been making his body their home since the moment he touched the meteorite.. and then the next moment, just like that, he was aware.

Stranger still, he was okay with it. Rather, it was as natural to him as suddenly realizing he was breathing. He accepted it, and within the week, he did what he was always meant to do: he gave up his pointless will to the very bacteria that had empowered him, allowing them control over his body and conscious decisions. He became them, and they became him. It was such a subtle change, given his years of odd behavior, that nobody even noticed the day that Zigi Bop, human being, disappeared.. replaced entirely by Zigi Bop, a human host to an abstract alien influence.

□ Synopsis: Zigi isn't really being "controlled" by the alien bacteria in his body now, so much that he is them, and they are him. Where once he was Zigi Bop, a consciously separate human who had a consciously separate alien bacteria inside of him, now his entire identity-- his sense of self-- is Zigi Bop, human host to alien bacteria, as a single consciousness. His human brain has gradually adapted to comprehend the changes to his genetic structure that took place because of the bacteria, and as a result, he's discovering new abilities that appear as his body acclimates. Just as well, he is coming to terms with his existence and exploring the possibilities of his future.. thoughts that the bacteria had never encountered before, but could now, affected by the human brain. He finds "goals" in keeping himself safe and healthy, in finding ways to procreate-- specifically, to create those like him who are a "symbiotic" human-bacteria consciousness, or relationship.

□ Abilities: As time has passed, the bacteria's influence has changed Zigi to do progressively more impressive things. At first, it was small changes.. for instance, Zigi no longer needs to blink, and both stares and sleeps with his eyes wide open, 24/7. More dramatic, recent changes include a surprisingly powerful body, with which he is able to both lift incredibly heavy objects and run at inhuman levels of speed. His genetic structure even allows Zigi to transform parts of his body into a pink, fleshy mass of tapered limbs, or tentacles; often doing this with his arms to reach items he wouldn't normally be able to reach, though he can do it with literally any part of his body, and for a multitude of reasons (yes, including lewd reasons.) Every day, Zigi presses the physical limits of his body and evolves, and it's no stretch of the imagination to assume that this evolution will, eventually, progress to abilities of the mind.

□ Sex: Zigi is aromantic, and as such, feels nothing romantically for other people. He can, however, still feel sexual attraction, and shows an interest in sex or sexual acts, both to quell physical urges and to procreate.. specifically with healthy, or physically spectacular specimens. It's worth mentioning that the alien bacteria was only able to affect Zigi, himself, because he was a child and had a notably weak immune system; his sexual partners remain unaffected by the bacteria, aside from the occasional side effect, such as an enhanced libido or desire to mate with the one carrying the "mother strain", which is Zigi himself. This ensures repeat partners. Children that are a result of Zigi's seed, however, are genetically manufactured to host the alien bacteria, thus the reason for him to procreate in the first place. While having sex, it is one of the few times that Zigi will display interest or fervor in something, whereas normally he seems analytical and emotionless-- this is, however, still just a display, as in Zigi's experience, sexual partners are stimulated not just by his actions during intercourse, but also his reactions. This, too, is to ensure repeat partners. That's not to say that Zigi isn't actually into the sex, though. He still has his own fetishes, still feels his own pleasure, and will take part in things like foreplay, not just for his partner's stimulation, but for his own.. it's just that the intensity of his reactions are mostly a facade.
