You know those old stories of mermaids enchanting sailors with their songs, leading them to their deaths where they crash and drown in the seas? Minerva is one of those mermaids.
Description: She has long black hair down to her fish half and deep amber eyes, lighty tanned skin and sharp blood red nails. She currently wears an old peasant's shirt, a souvenier from a meal long passed. Her fish half is primarily a brilliant orange with a tint of gold to it, having much resemblance to a koi.
History: Minerva found herself in captivity a year ago when some marine biologists ransacked her underwater village. She moved from zoo to zoo, mostly because of her disagreeable nature and her habit of eating her keepers. She eventually seduced two teenage boys to release her back into the wild. However, the latches weren't secure and Minerva fell out into the park. She now is surviving in a puddle beneath a willow tree.
Characteristics: Minerva is a very feisty mermaid with a short temper. She does give people the benefit of the doubt, being cordial at first though if they screw that up, her wrath is unforgiving. Often, her only reason for communication is she needs something. Though she is not conceited, she has a bit of vanity that all mermaids have, since the most beautiful get the most prey. There are two ways for instantly getting her in a foul mood; calling her "Minnie" or calling her a goldfish.
Abilities: Minerva's singing is hypnotic and undeniable. The only way to avoid it is to plug your ears or if she stops. Survivors have said that they often feel dazed, confused, weak, and depressed after she has stopped singing. If that weren't enough, Minerva can take the form of whatever she eats.

Mermaid: Obviously, and she is in this form unless otherwise noted.
Human: Her fish tail becomes a skirt around her long, beautiful legs. Seeing as she believes humans are prey, she only uses this form if necessary.
Fish: A lovely koi, though she sees little use in this form and rarely uses it.
