• Any cargo ?:.the landships are large transports built on cthien to transport large amounts of goods over the shifting sands deserts to the main cities as such they are often large halftrack or tracked [ think a cross between a mammoth form halo, a rig from gears of war, a banebalde, pt 1000 and a maus combined ]as such they are often capable of shipping large amount of cargo of any size.
• Nothing in our way: the landships where built to be all terrain as possible as such they can go over anything thou sadly thy cannot fly
• this won't be long: the landship is a large vehicles made all the more fierce by welding on armour and weaponry scaring and intimidating oppents thou at the cost of speed reducing the vechiel to a slow crawl.
• Make it worth my time: the crew of the landships are rarely in the game for charity as such the crew has many reason for being in the game such as nationality, debt, money [ the pay is very good one mouth long trip nets 100,000 on a normal trip ] as such don’t expect theses gals to work for free

The planet for cthien is a large desert world with only a few places not desert, as such many areas are barren and endless with only the occasional oasis, mountain range and sea breaking things up, this coupled with violet high-altitude ion storms making it only possible to travel down to the planet in a few places.
It was only when it was found that the planet was rich with resources ranging from special ore needed in reactors and superconductors to oil and a type of snake that’s waste can be used to make a cancer healing drug. Of course a gold rush insured and trade towns where built, while large scale and rich backed ones where able to be self-sufficnet such as water pumps, farms underground and factory’s , poor ones where not and the ion storms ment that shipping by space craft [ you can move ships thou the ion storms but either need a large battleship type one or one full shielded meaning that if you’re going to that length then a full self sufficient settlement is no issue] it in or using aircraft at high altitudes [ note it is possible to fly an aircraft but at a low height this often makes it easier to avoid the storms but much more likely for a pilot to screw up and crash]. As such it lead to one thing which where ground based conveys moving from clear areas and ports free of storms to the settlements but raiders and outlaws escaping the law settled on parts of the planet making conveys a easy prey even arming them did little as terrain n and the desert was just as bad as the raiders which prayed on them which lead to the development of the

Landship the landship was first used by the Gladouis corporation as a cheap way for transporting cargo in bulk a few miles to a settlement , in a sense it was a large dump truck for carrying resources on mining worlds, but its large size enabled it to move thou shift sands and small chasms. While successful the project was selfed as too expense and as such was discounted.
It was few years alter that the idea was taken by a few miners wanting to reach the yellow sea but needed to carry ore back and so the landhsip was made same as before a large dump truck and it worked well hauling the ore back from the sea with little to no problem seeing the success that others copied the idea and adopted it turning many in to large armoured trend carriers caple of taking supplies to the outlying settlements.

Of course, trade brings greed and greed brings terrible things such as war. At the star the gladouis corp muscled in and tried to monopolise the business forcing small competitors out, then when serval mining settlements ran their own landship company it led to many scuffs, and lawsuits and sabotage. The when the cult of the maw made their own group to supply there settlements things started to heat up especially with all of them try to muscle out independents.
The war came over trades routes, with some trades routes where dominated by one type of group in the end the use of pirates to high jack miner landships by the gladouis corp lead to war between the two which spilt over in to a massive 5 way war between, miners guild, the cult of the maw, the gladois corperation , raiders and independents until the Federation clamped down leading to a narrow victory for the independents and a freer trade meaning a new age for a independents trader.

Xien Mecy was born on a peacefully backwater world of tea falls, she lived a normal life with a normal family. She had a normal school life neither being good or bad at school it was at flying with her local flight school that she exceled. It was the end of her collage that she was scouted by the gladois corporation and was enrolled in the their pilot school and seeing her tests results especially in low level flying she was shipped to cthien. On world she went thou many different roles and planes from hunter killer support planes, to recon to supply transports but in the end was deployed as a “eyeball” [ a eyeball is a light weight craft that folds away like a harrier usually vtol that is used for scouting ahead of the landship and supporting it with the landship as the carrier], she was a pilot during the trade war which disillusioned her further with the corporation and by the end she took her leave and left taking with her pride and joy “baby girl” in the end she found her way on board the “sail pretty” under studs. In a new life and family she now thinks of them as her own

Brute history is little know but what is known is she was a baby when her mother imprisoned at the infamous “pit “ on the planet of lorn 5 brutes mouther died before she was 5 but due to the law of guilt passing on to family brute was raised in the prisons home to some of the worst scum in the galaxy, it was due to her size and strength that she rose in the prisons hierarchy to become a enforcer and bodyguard. Like many the trade war changed her after accompanying a leader to a buried chemical bunker and releasing what they were planning she skunk away sealing in the whole bunker before deserting sick of the cult. In the end she joined the crew of the sail pattern after seeing them in the town of nantburg on as their navigator.

Gear Was one of the many people who came to cthien during the resource rush turing to find work. It was during the trade war on a routine ore deliverer her ship the “WIND” a cargo type transport ship ran in to a cult of the maw 45 type commerce raider, in a battle that last 5 days and took a 300 mile journey she was able to lumber in to port town a natural trading city but by then the war was over and her crew dead or simply wanting to go home left leaving with a gutted but working landship after much choice and debate she decided to go in to business for herself after a few days using the ore ot pay for the costs the “WIND” had been renamed and given a new part job and up graded to more in line with a cruiser calls landship “now called the “the sail pretty” she started to pick up crew, first xein then sparks, then brute and finally kettle while they came form a vast range of back ground and clashed she was able to keep them together by locking herself and them in a room and holding an orgy for 6 days while not a usual thing to do it did solve the issue and all are good
