Once little more than a mimic, Ardere eventually began to grow in power as she ate more and more beings. It started off small, with a few missing adventurers here and there. Then it went to giants. Then dragons. Until finally she devoured and assimilated the old elemental of fire and light, rendering them as nothing more than part of her body. Now taking on their old role, she’s intent on amassing more power and expanding her range of influence. She's basically the opposite to Nuit, though they're not played by the same players! More details to come soon.
In terms of her size, she can range anywhere from six feet tall to any level upwards as long as she has food to consume. Though shaped like a candle, her body actually works a little differently. While the white goo her body is comprised of looks like wax it's a substance more akin to slime. It also has the taste of either vanilla,icing, or marshmallows, depending on what the person tasting it prefers. Her natural heat allows her to take on both a solid form (which feels like real flesh/meat) or goopy form depending on the situation. It also allows her to shift the shape of her body about,a allowing her to take on a herm form. She also tends to get larger when she eats well.
