Gilesey

Gilesey Nasgreeb is my first character. He is a young argonian, only 18, who was banished at the age of 16 to live in the harsh wilderness after refusing an arranged marriage within his tribe. Being banished at such a young age means that he was never trained in the art of war, and therefore is much more likely to try and escape a confrontation than face a predator, which he is much more skilled at than in a fight.

Gilesey's anatomy is perfect for avoiding predators; his dark green skin allows him to blend in with woodland, jungle and tall grass, and he tries to avoid urban and water areas where he would stand out. His slim frame allows him to dart between branches and trees, making it difficult for larger predators to chase him down in thick jungle and woodland. The claws on his hands and feet make him a skilled and agile climber, and his tale provides him with perfect balance so that he can dash along branches and run from tree to tree.

Should a predator catch him, Gilesey will use his dagger in close quarters, or failing that, will use his claws as a last resort. His instinct for survival is incredibly strong, and will not succumb easily, struggling when possible. Even when inside the stomach of a predator, his instinct for survival seem almost innate, as he would be felt writhing and twitching almost instinctively, even when barely conscious.

Forced to survive on what he can, he hunts smaller animals such as rabbits, preferring quick kills with his bow from a distance, or from above on the branch of a tree. He also carrys a dagger in case of close confrontations, though it is rarely used as he prefers the art of escape. If at a reasonable distance, he will use his bow to fire a volley of arrows at a predator chasing him, giving him an extra second or two to escape while the predator is occupied

While Gilesey tries to avoid all predators, he has a peculiar interest in nagas and lamias, possibly due to their reptilian bodies. This can put him into dangerous situations at times and often regrets his attraction as he is fleeing for his life from a hungry predator he got too close to. He has also shown interest in giant slugs, carnivorous slime, and pythons in the past.
