Kenza

Standing at a strong six foot five, Kenza is a lightly built and reasonably young Mako shark based demi-human her age verging on around 25. Her hair falls to around shoulder height and is the deep blue, though this has been dyed so that it matches up to her back colouration. Speaking of which, it should be noted that her skin has two textures depending on where it is touched. Along her back, backs of arms and tail. She has a dark navy blue coloured skin which is rough and almost sandpaper like to the touch much like an actual shark. The underside of her skin is a very pale and a colour close to white with vague hints of blue as it runs closer to her back, this underside is very soft and almost silken to the touch, more like a human. Fin wise, she has one on each lower arm, one along her back, and two small ones on her ankles, these aren't particularly sharp but do enough to cause minor scrapes if moved quickly across skin.

As for her face, she has a soft face lacking in the sharper angles that might be expected from one so closely tied to a shark, eyes a sparkling purple in shade her nose seemingly almost not there where it's so close to her face, her lips are rarely coloured but quite apparent. Lastly and probably the only unusual trait about this shark is that she has clearly taken a lot of time in filing her teeth so that all of them are serrated and sharply pointed, giving her a menacing grin. Clothing wise, it depends upon her situation. On the surface she will wear a set of three quarter length trousers, most often or not in purple. They are adorned with small chains looping from one belt loop to another, leaving the main length to hang low. On her upper body she generally wears a tank top, designed with a small skull on the top right of the top, with the colours switching between black with a purple skull to vice versa.

When in the water, she generally wears nothing at all.

Personality:
Deep down Kenza has a heart of gold, or at least has been developing one of late while on Earth. Mostly she has been finding it particularly rewarding when helping little people with little problems. Not only do they come up begging for someone to help them but they are just so overly thankful afterwards. They do practically anything you'd ask of them. Either way she has become slightly less than the typical Shark in that she doesn't necessarily become a stubborn sod as soon as someone says something she disagrees with. All in all though, she's been taking a slight twisted pleasure in helping people who are weak and helpless. They just seem so helpless and, well... cute.

On top of this she is somewhat social, in an attempt to understand human culture further she has been quite the party goer. Nightclubs, bars you name it she's probably been there and has become the kind of person who knows the barman and each of the off the list drinks they make. Having an unusual memory for names and faces has come in handy in knowing who'll let her through and who won't. When she's had a couple of drinks she is quite the talkative shark, explaining about her world to any who'll listen and her times out there hunting.

These niceties all change if she is hungry or feels slighted by something. Resorting to almost default behaviour of being rude, snappish and generally irksome towards everyone around her. Most of the time, she recognises when she's in one of these moods and chooses to be somewhat reclusive. Avoiding people so that she doesn't try and turn them into a meal... or mincemeat.

If she does find people able to put up with her and makes friends, one of her favourite bonding activities surprisingly enough is to go swimming alongside them, often or not finding their attempts at swimming adorable without the aid of a tail or fins. Naturally enough, anyone happy to swim with a shark will generally impress her. That admittedly is one of her biggest things, people who impress her gain her respect, for her respect is everything. It elevates people from food, or pathetic creature into being friend or just maybe, if someone really turns her head, lover.

Back home before she left, she was somewhat typical of shark, and to an extent still is, a stubborn creature who mouths off quite often. But having gotten into trouble on Earth for it before, she's making a personal effort to suppress her first instincts and has been finding life much easier because of it.

History:
Born and bred in an underwater city, Kenza's early life was spent almost entirely in the dark, not that this mattered hugely to someone capable of seeing so well in the dark. She was raised mostly by her father as was the acceptable method. She did have an older sibling who attempted to assist with this, but he soon lost interest as he sought to make a family of his own. She spent most of her life in the water, spending very little on land and seeing little to no need for it at first. Occasionally she would go on land alongside her father to trade some of their catches, but she for the most part preferred the water, hunting and staying out and about

He was her mentor in fighting, passing on his particular methods, he was capable in sword fighting, but had little way of keeping a sword intact within the water, save for shaping one out of his own energy. A trick he passed on down to his daughter, along with a rather silly move designed to crush people, rather redundant on their home since everyone was capable of taking the pressure, but it was fun for pulling the odd prank. She was actually shaping up to be quite the hunter, looking to that over everything else, including raising a family.

She was all but forced by her father to spend time with her mother. Learning how to be a woman again, how to care for a child and how to maintain a home. These forced lessons she took in, but wasn't very happy about, she quite possibly only did them because he had insisted and her respect for him held no bounds. Perhaps though, if she ever spent time thinking about it, it was these lessons that drove her to want to explore. To escape from home and see other places a little more. When she expressed these wishes to her parents, they were a little unsure about it. Their daughters love for the water would probably make it harder for her to adapt to life on the surface.

She had a bit of a rocky start after arriving, almost instantly getting into a minor argument with security staff and starting a fight within minutes because they wouldn't let her go around without clothes. Having spent a spell in prison and spending possibly just a little longer than necessary due to fights with the guards. But she was released after a little while due to `good` behaviour.

It wasn't too long before she started drinking. It had such a pleasant taste to her, and seemed to do so little to her head. She was often or not found in clubs and pubs, getting to know humanity in her own way and enjoying herself immensely. There were one or two mishaps with small animals vanishing when kenza couldn't find any food. She was almost caught out once or twice and on the second occasion, she was actually let off provided she did a little task and didn't try and eat the dog again. This task made her feel good, and left her a little cash in hand to show her that it was a better way to get food. So now she helps out random people and satisfies herself on small wildlife, and seafood while occasionally helping people out.
