Lurking within the blue depths a pale skinned mermaid-like being drifts through, seeming quite content and relaxed most of the time without making much of a stir to everything around. Until of course when she's hungry or a vessel treads across her water.
Suddenly the fair mermaid-like creature takes on a more powerful appearance as she sucks in gallons and gallons of water into her clear stomach through a hole where her vagania would be. The flow so powerful it creates a monstrous whirlpool that sends ships circling around, sending their crew and cargo flying everywhere as the ship is eventually consumed by the woman's incredibly stretchy translucent stomach. That will eventually digest the entirety of the object and pass it through.
Inside is a fleshy wall made of layers and layers of tentacles and tendrils massing all over to make one fleshy surface, going around to drag things to it, break them down, and digest them on the surface of the fleshy mass.
She's a one of a kind, species that is not found anywhere else, as one only exists within the seas at a time, charybdis herself, being a very very old being, as well as her previous three generations, and still has many more millennia to continue to live within the depths.
Charybdis herself is very forward in her thoughts and treats them as if it was just a everyday thing, be it questions about her or what she enjoys that would make other people blush in embarrassment. However she is also very quiet, not speaking often unless she begins to make friends with another being, then she becomes a bit more sociable.
