Aithne

Played by Phantelle.

Your lands, kingdoms, and people have been conquered, and you didn't even know it until she appeared.

Aithne is an enforcer for the elusive and inscrutible Wravian Expanse, an extradimensional empire of magic with tentacles wrapped around dozens of dimensions and realities. In the topological space occupied by our physical reality, she chooses to manifest herself as a gigantic woman of prodigious size and majesty, but these are merely physical constructs for interacting with a world governed by physics. Aithne herself - insomuch as a metaphysical being such as she can even be classified according to gender - exists beyond the physical plane and interacts with it only at the behest of her masters and creators, the goddesses of the Wravian Expanse. As the Expanse has claimed you and your reality, however, she has arrived to see that the Expanse's ideology is properly imposed on its subjects.

The secret policewoman doesn't act so secretively, either.

Though she may appear human, Aithne often acts like a dispassionate observer sent to observe mere mortals in their everyday life. Her placid expression betrays no hint of emotion besides the occasional frown or knowing smirk. She wears a mask over her eyes as a symbol of her ostensible role as an impartial enforcer of justice. Her body, tall, powerful, voluptuous and classically beautiful, displays the majesty of the law and her appearance is calculated to evoke awe and deference in subjects who see her. Those who violate the laws or the religion of the Wravian Expanse are imprisoned in her breasts or womb, cut off from mortal societies for as long as it takes to indoctrinate them properly. Her breasts are heavy with prisoners undergoing penance. Mortals condemned to the stomach suffer far worse fates, dissolving in agonizing pain, and even after death their torment does not abate as their doomed souls are subject to eternal digestion in her belly. On her feet she wears high platform heels to symbolize that the law stands above the common rabble. Aithne's wispy wings and elaborate golden halo make her appear as an angel. She cannot be sullied, swayed, mollified, or bargained with by the mobs. When she speaks, her voice reverberates not only in the ears but sinks into the very soul of the listener, profoundly shaking the spirit.

Sometimes she stands in the middle of a city, motionless for months or even years. Other times she vanishes for centuries, only to reappear and enforce the law as civilizations forget about her. The law never sleeps, after all.

Aithne enforces worship of the rulers of the Wravian Expanse and will not tolerate other religions or disloyalty to the Expanse. As emissary to the physical plane, she is also empowered to accept the worship of the masses on behalf of the Wravian goddesses. Education is discouraged; in its place, she indoctrinates mortals to worship her masters as goddesses. Under her watchful gaze, sedition is quickly eaten alive or stamped out beneath her feet, and she expects instant obedience out of mortals when she gives them orders on behalf of the Expanse. Lands under the rule of Aithne and her sisters are governed with heavy-handed oppression; even the nominal puppet rulers of occupied lands are no more than convenient intermediaries for the giantess to dictate her orders. Aithne can change her size at will, but she almost always maintains a majestic appearance larger than life to inspire her subjects with awe (and a little fear). Resistance is futile; as a magical law, the giantess is not bound by the principles of physics, and even if her body could be harmed she can simply manifest a new one for herself.

She has little concept of modesty. The law has nothing to hide.

Aithne is not a goddess herself, she merely serves them by imposing their worship amongst the lesser races (that would be you).

Rumor has it that the law has a notable weakness for high heels, her judgment being more lenient towards women who wear them.

For the curious reader who wants to know what she can do ...

Cross Examination
In spite of her blindfold, Aithne can see the outside world with perfect clarity. In fact, her heavy mask exists more to protect mortals than herself. When she lifts her mask, her eyes burn with a piercing gaze that immediately discerns all of a man's sins, guilt, and misdeeds in a single glance. Aithne's Cross Examination is a highly traumatic look to endure, evoking overwhelming sensations of guilt and terror in even the most stalwart of mortals as knowledge of their misdeeds bubble to the surface. Many whom she picks up and subjects to her pitiless scrutiny are never the same again, suffering from severe PTSD and unable to ever shake off the omnipresent feeling that she is still watching them.

Burden of Proof
Those found guilty by Aithne of heresy against the Wravian Expanse or other violations of the law can be saddled with the Burden of Proof. Invisible and intangible, the Burden nevertheless forces its carrier to move about in daily life mired under a terrible weight. People subject to the Burden of having sins proven against them must drag their body through motions as if restrained by invisible chains or pulling themselves through a slough. Walking, lifting small objects, and even breathing become laborious, time-consuming activities which can only be accomplished sluggishly after a great deal of effort, quickly exhausting the Burdened. Only acts of worship towards the goddesses of the Wravian Expanse or carrying out penance assigned by Aithne are known to alleviate the Burden, making it an effective way of compelling servitude from the lesser races.

Power of Attorney
Those who are disloyal (or show insufficient displays of loyalty) to the Wravian Expanse may find themselves at the mercy of their fellow man. Aithne may grant Power of Attorney over one individual to another; this magical geas compels the individual to obey any and all commands given by the empowered Attorney, even those that would cause jeopardy to life and limb. Rather insidiously, Aithne tends to reward loyal followers with Power of Attorney over their less loyal or enthusiastic brethren. The Attorney is held responsible for all actions taken by the individual as a result of a direct command. The giantess herself has no qualms with stripping free will from her subjects for arbitrary reasons; queens have been made slaves of beggars for inscrutable reasons. Power of Attorney can be granted to more than one person, or even to a whole class of people, such as all women being given Power of Attorney over male rapists. Aithne can also withdraw Power of Attorney at any time; notably, it cannot be disclaimed or declined by the named Attorney whom she chooses.

The Long Arm of the Law
Time and space are no protection against Aithne's justice. If she desires to detain a suspect, Aithne need merely extend her arm to its limit and catch him. Her reach can seek an individual across any distance and any length of time; in theory, Aithne can pull a man off his deathbed half a galaxy away to answer for a crime committed as a juvenile. Nor is her reach limited merely to operations of the law - she can pull people across history and distance at will, for Aithne herself exists beyond spacetime. You can run, but you cannot hide forever. Eventually her fingers will wrap around your helpless body and drag you through reality itself to face her justice.

Eminent Domain
Aithne possesses authority to claim in the name of the Wravian Expanse. She can lay claim to individuals, kingdoms, dimensions, or even concepts, placing them under the rule of the Expanse. Once Eminent Domain is invoked, the place so claimed falls under the law of the Expanse and is subject to its rules; if physical laws conflict, the laws of the Expanse prevail. In practice, this permits Aithne to impose laws of magic or logic upon the Expanse's holdings and apply them to mortals.

Right of Arbitration
Two or more entities engaged in a dispute under Aithne's jurisdiction may bring it to her for resolution. The decrees which Aithne issues in regards to the dispute are absolute and binding, and will physically compel those who receive it to carry it out. Aithne is also permitted under the Right of Arbitration to insert herself into any dispute in order to see that justice is properly carried out, whether it is an argument between two men or a sovereign dispute between two nations.

Contempt of Court
Anyone under Wravian law found to be disruptive to society, disobedient to the law, or in violation of the requirement to worship its goddesses can be held in Contempt of Court by Aithne or her sisters. An individual considered in Contempt of Court loses the right to free speech, being unable to speak while penalized. Similar to Burden of Proof, Contempt of Court can be alleviated with sufficient penance or worship.

No One is Above the Law
As testament to the law's absolute authority over any subjects of the Wravian Expanse, Aithne always appear taller than any other individual. In her natural form she usually towers hundreds of feet over the filthy, unwashed masses anyways; however, whether by some trick of perspective, some act of magic, or actual height, Aithne appears to loom over even other giants or giantesses who might be objectively taller than her chosen form. She always appears to be at least half again as tall as anyone else, and often more. It is suggested that the more guilty an individual, the larger and grander Aithne will appear to that person.
OOC Information:
- By popular request, the evil giantess has arrived. However, I will not godmod with her or try to shove her into other people's interactions. Yes, I dislike it as much as the next user.
- Themed for domination play. Not likely she'll be prey.
- I'm fond of breast vore, oral, unbirth.
- Her height is variable, but she'll always be much, much larger than her victims.
- Some of her details are left deliberately vague so that she can fit into various different settings.
- Above all what I seek are creative, educated, sophisticated partners with unusual and creative ideas!

RP hooks! Some ideas to get you started, but feel free to pitch others to me:
- The law is hungry and you've just given her an excuse to consume you!
- You thought no one knew of your crime, but the arm of the law is long indeed ...
- Your kingdom is now a tributary of the Wravian Expanse! How will the people adjust when Draconian laws are enforced by giantess?
- A monarch who dares to defy the Wravian Expanse learns too late that the price is to see her kingdom trampled to dust around her in old-fashioned giantess rampage.
- Embroiled in an argument, you demand Arbitration under Aithne. This is a good idea. Nothing could possibly go wrong with this idea.
- You are a beloved and gentle queen, but Aithne has decided that you will be her puppet ruler.
- Driven to truly desperate measures, you have come to beg the giantess to reach past death itself to bring your lost love back to you.
- Can even the stern and severe giantess herself fall in love?
