tl;dr: A lone antagonist bun that didn't have much going for him until he happened upon a fallen deity that was soon for death. Being drawn in by the god's agony, Asiago found himself in a very rare situation in which he could consume a properly immortal being. Naturally, he greedily gobbled the withered divinity down, performing a sealing spell on his body so the deity's soul could not escape him once the body was destroyed by the natural digestion process. He's kept the deity captive ever since, sapping the celestial power from the tired, weary spirit to boost his own magical powers.

He now travels gleefully from place to place, often times visiting different realms and tricking desperate mortals into believing he's a deity presiding over love and matchmaking and often-times manipulating them into getting what he wants with the promise of finding them their soulmates... Of course, this doesn't ever happen, and most often than not he winds up filling his gut or bedding someone before moving on to find the next person to dupe.
