[ABOUT]
Bailey Wulf is an up and coming game developer in the isle-kin community. She was born in Kansas City KS and was raised by her mother and father; Sonia and Fredrick Wulf. Bailey’s father being one of many half siblings of famed isle-kin comedian
Sebastian_T_Wulf. A large family that has paw prints across the globe. Sebastian was Fredricks half-brother through Ivan Wulf. Fredrick did little to keep in touch with the comedian but didn’t mind learning more about his biological father. Sebastian wanted to get to know his known brother a little better. Back when he cared he had a brother. Sebastian had failed at every corner to develop a stronger bond with Fredrick but had an even stronger one with his niece. During his visits to the Midwest, whether on tour or simply wanting to law low and relax, Bailey and her uncle would pal around and go on fun trips together while her parents worked. When Ivan passed away, his company went to his first-born son and no one else. Fredrick was furious and wanted nothing to do with the show wolf any longer. Sebastian gave Bailey some advice before leaving her; “Don’t grow up to be your father…or your grandfather…Or me…or anyone at that matter. Just grow up to be the best damn you that you can ever be.”
Bailey has a brilliant and creative. Even when she was young she showed signs of being incredibly gifted. Her skills in reading and math were some of the highest in the KC school district. But she was also very spirted. She enjoyed running and playing outside and had a love for art. She loved drawing and painting and would focus her energy on her artistic skills, despite her parents wishes. She would keep up her grades for her parent’s sake, but her elementary art teacher had taken interest in her talents. Bailey was always the first on display at her school and had entered her work into a young artist auction. Everyone encouraged her to let her artistic talents to flourish while Fredrick and Sonia only humored her and pushed her to focus on something much more practical. Bailey humored their suggestions by agreeing with them.
The young teen would eventually grow up to become much more passionate about her artistic talents and would want to pursue a career in something that allowed her creativity to soar. After slogging through her teen years, with her being out of most social groups, having boys finding her intimidating and finding her weird, she wanted to attend an art college just a hope skip and a jump from where she lived. Her father wanted to put a stop to it. He wanted his daughter to attend a reputable college, refusing anything dedicated to the arts. That meant she would not see a dime unless she chose any of the colleges he had picked out for her. But Bailey went over his head and had been preselected for an art scholarship within the state. Bailey attended and graduated from the college of her dreams against her parents wishes. She set out to make a life for herself. Of course, life after college was no cake walk.<br>
Bailey continued to draw and sketch and even sell her work online on several different social media sites. Her artwork, along with her job at SHIFT Electronics helped her with her cost of living. Soon she upgraded her computer and began to creating 3D models/characters before selling them for more than her original sketches. Users from several different sites and forums suggested she should go into making video games. The very idea made her laugh…at first. She had gotten tired of scraping by on what she was making and decided to work towards making her very first game. She started off with a small platformer and a funding website and launched her work in nine months. Money started to pour in from several different app stores that marketed her work. With that, she wanted to make a sequel to that game. She hired a couple of friends and the trio developed a successor to her first game. After that, three developers became six and a small, one-bedroom apartment next to Bailey’s that turned into their game developing headquarters, calling their new-found company “Bailout Games” after its founder.
Four years later they had grown out of that measly little apartment and expanded into their own office space just outside of Kansas. Bailey focused on making titles that pushed the boundaries of freedom, space and creativity, without overwhelming the players. Though Bailey’s little business hadn’t the kind of funding and hit game titles as other companies, her work and the work of her development team have amassed a cult following. Both in the states and Moreau. Even her uncle had taken notice. After erecting his own media empire, he wanted to assist his niece in anyway he can in hopes of helping her make bigger and better titles. Bailey thanked her uncle before declining his offer, not just out of principal but by following the advice he gave her when she was young. Bailey however took his offer to come and stay with him in his island home in Moreau. Bailey took in the sights and enjoyed all that the island had to offer all while checking in on new developments at her company. Bailey wished to someday create a big enough title that would win many awards and the attention of gamers around the globe. Until then, she was proud of her accomplishments, and her work…and herself.
