Bulba_Link

Name: Link
Species: Bulbasaur (originally Hylian)
One day, Link had defeated Ganondorf (More like Ganondork, right?) and had rescued Zelda, then he wandered into a strange teleporter. When he came out, he was in a strange form: he had become a Bulbasaur. Even worse, he had appeared in the Nexus, and the Master sword didn't seem to be able to change him back. Not to mention he couldn't wield any of his items or weapons, since he wasn't used to his new body. He's learned to use his new vine whip, but that's about it... He's since learned to hold his items with his vine whip, making the preceding point moot. He still can't use some of them, however.
He received a magic English-speaking amulet from Kelly_the_Nimbat, so he can speak English instead of Poke-speak.
Also, Kelly told him about what happens in Nexus, and he thinks he might as well get used to it...
He still acts childish. My headcanon explanation is that, even as an adult, Link's brain is still immature, since he skipped 7 years of his life. Basically, his body aged, but his brain didn't.
He can now swap between Ivysaur and Bulbasaur forms by holding the Master sword aloft. In Ivysaur form, his clothes turn indigo, his defense having evolved with him.
His bulb/bud has a mind of its own,(and its own hunger) and may sometimes speak through Link's mouth. The voice that comes out is lighter than Link's, and will be signified by Having The First Letter Of Each Word Spoken Capitalized. (That is; using Camel Case)


Available Items/weapons:
-Biggoron's Sword(Completely unusable. It's just too long and unwieldy...literally, since he can't wield it.)
-Master Sword (usable, but a bit clumsy; must use two vines. Usable without trouble (and one vine) in Ivysaur form.)
-Kokiri Sword (usable with one vine)
-Deku Shield (usable)
-Hylian Shield (usable, but clumsy and must use two vines. Usable without trouble (and one vine) in Ivysaur form.)
-Mirror Shield (Same as Hylian Shield)
-Bow with fire, ice, light, and normal arrows (none usuable, No opposable thumbs means no bow usuage. Trying to use vines would just be too clumsy. Will eventually be replaced by Razor Leaf.)
-Slingshot (unusable, (not really possible to pull back the band and release accurately with a vine...) replaced by Bullet Seed. Krocko(See below) has taken a liking to it, though, and may use it on occasion.)
-Boomerang (usable)
-Longshot (unusable,(he couldn't exact enough pressure to the trigger) replaced by Vine Whip)
-Deku Nuts (usable, quite round, but with a texture that allows the vines to get a good grip. Not to mention the shells are slightly open, allowing for even better grip.)
-Bombs (usable, too round and smooth to get a grip on. The fuse nub is too short (And too dangerous) to grab from. Fang (see below) has added strips of grip tape to Link's remaining 35 bombs. He may now use them again.)
-Megaton Hammer (unusable. Too heavy)
-Deku Sticks (unusable as a torch. He can't get too close to fire. Otherwise usable, though not recommended as a weapon; they're too fragile.)
-40 Bombchu (usable, but limited. After all, no shop in Nexus sells them.)
-4 bottles (all usable. Round, but easily held with a vine thanks to the fact that they're cylindrical, not spherical.)
-Din's Fire, Farore's Wind, and Nayru's Love (Spells, and usable)
-Lens of Truth (usable)
-Magic Beans (used up before he came here.)
-Mask of Truth (usable, but he tries not to read minds too much...)
-Ocarina of Time (usable, but becomes a green pan flute he calls the "Bulba Flute" when he takes it out. In Ivysaur form, the Bulba Flute gains small pink buds on the edges of the crossbar(or whatever it's called) and it is indigo, like his clothes.)

Krocko seems to have taken a liking to Link's Slingshot, so the bulbasaur gave his Totodile the bullet bag, and taught the reptile how to use it. When Krocko doesn't have the weapon in hand, it's usually around his arm, using the band to hold it in place.

He also has 5 extra pokeballs with grip tape on them (Added by Fang) to allow him to actually grab them.

No matter what, Bulbasaur will always be number 001! (at least in the national 'dex)
