Caprice_Miika

Name: Caprice
Age: 42
Sex: Female
Race: Mountain Naga.
Mother of Alora_Miika, Maria_Miika

Caprice can be seen as someone who would be Traditional (In their sense of the word), She is someone who is strong, and respected among her people. As the head of the guard Caprice demands the respect she earned and this shows through her outward appearance, and overall calm demeanor. At times her appearance is almost robotic in nature, choosing to not gesture towards things with excitement or passion. A woman who one would never see crying at any point.

She is a loving mother all the same, and respects her daughters. watching as they grow and learn. However that 'love' only goes so far. There is an event in every Naga's life called the final trial, in which the Naga are put into a combat situation against other Naga in a first to three hit, or, first to kill their opponent, In which Maria Miika was chosen to fight against A specific type of Naga in the Clan. (A half blood) A race that is seen as almost inferior to her in every way, and as such didn't quite take the fight properly and almost died, Loosing the fight, and when the Half blood was told to spare her life, in his demands for victory was forced to become mates with Maria to make up for allowing her to live. In this moment Alora, the main character looked to her mother to see her almost disowning her own daughter. Though we do find out later that was all an act, when Caprice comes to Alora and confides in her daughter, tears in her eyes as she tells her how much it hurts her to have to do that to Maria in order to maintain the respect she needs. She is a mother after all ;)

As for the environment she lived in:

The Mountain Naga, as they are appropriately called, live on a mountain range called Stone Crest. A tall series of mountains that separate a desert, from a lush thick, green forest that expands WAY out to the horizon, steep ledges within the village give amazing views of the forest below at times. A lot of the time the ground they slither through is usually muddy, or snow covered at the altitude they live at, there still in the foliage belt of the forest, so trees and grass are still able to grow, but its still rather cold at these altitudes. In order to combat the cold, the Naga thrive off the heat given to them by a hot spring that resides in the wall of the mountain itself. Its fed through a plumbing system into each home heating it, and allowing the Naga to have a place to lounge in its warmth. It does go through a hierarchy as to who gets the water first. It flows out of the mountain into the council house, and from there, it goes to the main hall, and then distributed to all the other homes leaving the ones that belong to the half bloods last.
