Maria grew up in the mountains just like any other Naga of her clan, born of a family with a very strong background A pureblood Naga destined for greatness. as a Member of the Assassins. Her Sister Alora_Miika joined along side her together becoming a very strong pair. People who saw her always thought of her as spry, always eager to be the best at what ever challenge lays before her, and it showed in all the training that Maria, and her sister would face.

her people run off a clan status level, The Elders make all the decisions, the assassins are their hand, in the influences of Everon. From there, you have the head master, a teacher who teaches the most worthy young lings the arts of the blade, Their entire childhood becomes consumed by this constant struggle, Failure isn't an option even to the young lings facing many challenges against peers usually ending in one, swallowing the other. When not against each other they fight against creatures of fear. including large reptiles, bears, and wolves.

As the surviving reach a certain age, they are granted the right to craft their own tail blade, the signature weapon of the people, individualized in weight and design to the owner. Most make theirs intricately detailed with quotes from literature, or keepsakes and family motto. Some strive for the fact that what they do is good, decorating them with peaceful items such as flowers (like in Maria's case)

For their final test before finally being considered a part of the assassins they have one last test to face, against their head masters, in a first to three strikes match, where all of their skills come to play If they loose, their fate will be decided weather they aren't fit for the Assassins, or they are, the lost battle could end in one of three ways, being struck three times, being killed by blade, or being eaten by the head master. However, the same could be said about the reverse, and should they beat, and swallow the head master, they automatically assume his, or her position. Thinking that she was more than able to succeed in this task was quickly proved wrong, she fought valiantly and came close, striking her master twice before he turned the tables on the overconfident woman three strikes against her supple elvish flesh later and she was lying on her back panting and defeated.

A bit frustrated in her loss would then be forced to watch her sister not only succeed in defeating the head master, but going so far as to devouring him before the entire crowd. When the last of his tail vanished the crowd cheared and praised their new Head Mistress, and her sister Alora.

For a time things would go as one thought, Maria took to her new roll as a Huntress well through the clan, she would even find herself in a relationship with Sol_Corbis, a halfbood Naga or Lamia. Their union was not looked fondly upon by the upper caste of the clan. So much so that one night while she was moving through the great hall she heard a voice beckoning her to the cold outside, only to feel pain shooting through her body. She had no idea how, or why but the next time she woke, she was surrounded by stonework, a room lit only by the dim light of the moon through an open skylight. The first hint of her not being alone was a voice, the sound piercing her mind and making her bend to it's will. next were hands touching her shoulders exclaiming that everything would be alright, and the last thing she remembered was the words of her queen saying "Alora did this to you. You must make her pay" and though fear pierced her mind she would find unconciousness flood back the one image of her sister thrusting the blade through her flooding her mind with rage.

After that day, Maria would become one of Queen_Meridiths generals, leading armies against the resisting elvish factions all in hopes that one day she might face her sister on the field of battle.

She'd be sent after many of those that the Elves held in high regard, each one would be forced to endure the pain of a slow digestion in her stomach, though every so often she'd try to take some alive, one particular girl taken from a village destroyed by Obediance was brought back in her pre-stomach and eventually became the horrendous abominationClank

Pre-Stomach: In the main Elvish torso, and only found on the females of the species. It is able to stretch large enough to accomidate one human sized creature, this stomach has a lining inside that allows air to permiate through the flesh enabling those inside to be able to breathe, it's commonly used for young Naga during the early stages of their life for protection akin to the pouch of a Kangaroo. Many Huntresses have since learned that they can use it to capture prey for interrogation, or use it for those that desire to feel what it's like for those that become Escorts

Uterus: Female Naga's vaginal opening is protected behind the first two scales of their serpentine torso, however it bends upwards to just bleow their pre stomach where it actually connect, Young are able to use the mothers vaginal opening to make their way to the pre stomachs so that they do not induce her hunger responce and accidentally send them down to her main stomach to be digested. Stomach: The naga stomach is where food goes to digest, a direct path from the Pre-Stomach leads eventually to the main stomach where the digestive juices will break down food items, It has been said that an Average Naga had the capacity to down a white tailed deer, so prey items such as humans or elves are of little concequence.

Lungs: Naga lungs are actually located in their tail, the long pair of lungs bisect the Stomach and are long in length, these enable them to stay submerged beneath the water for an extended period of time sometimes upwards of an hour. This also has the unfortunate side effect of a Naga falling prey usually dying to the pain of digestion long before their oxygen supply will fail.
