Little is known of Cara's past until she reached the age of 10. She was orphaned as a baby and adopted by a wealthy American family. She wanted for nothing, but was raised to be grateful for what she was given, and as a result, Cara is a kind, caring young woman. In high school, she excelled in athletics, receiving a gymnastics scholarship to the University of Washington. While in college, she experimented, as many young people do when away from home for the first time. She found that she didn't care for drugs, and didn't like to get drunk, although she does drink occasionally. She did, however, find that she loves sex, in nearly all its forms.
Cara was told about the park by a romantic rival, that she could find partners there unlike any she'd ever been with. One little detail that the rival neglected to reveal to her, however, was that many of the park's inhabitants would eat you, and didn't care about personal preferences.
