Height: Slightly taller than average human her age.
Weight: Slightly less than average human her age.
Eye: Green within Green
Hair: Grass with two leaves sprouting from her head.
Bust: None-AA
Orientation: virginal, none
Disposition: Friendly and playful but shy
Diet: omnivorus and carrion.


General:
If it weren't for the grass and pair of leaves growing out of her head, the average person wouldn't be able to tell that Chichiko wasn't human. Indeed aside from a magical or medical examination, her garden variety hairdo is the only obvious hint as to her heritage. Chichiko would seem just like any other normal human child, you'd never now that she crawled out of the ground just recently after spending several years as a dormant Corpseweed.

Chichiko is a shy girl, not having very much experience around people yet due to her young age, and the fact that she can't speak very well only makes her even more shy; ironically though, modesty is a concept she has yet to learn due to her innocence. However, if you manage to get this timid young thing to warm up to you, you will find that she is quite friendly and very playful once she gets to know you. Like most children, she really just wants to have fun, companionship, and be taken care of. She does have quite the appetite however and can often be found when hiding if you just wait and listen for the rumbling of her tummy. Give her something to eat, or in the case of micros, someone and you'll have made a quick friend.

Not quite yet having an understanding of herself, the world around her, or much for language, Chichiko is both timid and curious. Most times when encountering new people or creatures, she'll hide behind friends, trees, rocks, anything she thinks will help keep her safe, however it isn't very difficult to coax her out into the open if said creature seems friendly, playful, and especially if they seem cute or are offering her food.

Inspite of her being so young and inexperienced, Chichiko, like all of her kind tend to learn things rather quickly; so while she currently has no language skills to speak of, other than being able to say her name, it shouldn't prove difficult to teach her something if you really want to. As a plant herself, Chichiko has a love and adoration for nature and especially other plants, even the regular, nonintelligent kind. She doesn't like seeing people pull up flowers or vegetables out of the ground or seeing them hack through vines and tall grasses with a machete. This bothers her so much that Chichiko is liable to come out of hiding and attempt to attack the offender; of course, given her size and strength, she may not actually be able to inflict much harm, but she'll try all the same to protect her fellow flora. She also do much the same thing to help protect anyone she's come to think of as a friend.

Due to her inexperience, Chichiko isn't exactly the greatest huntress, infact she's rather poor at catching her own food, but that doesn't stop her from trying, and she does sometimes manage to catch little things here and there. Being quite gentle at heart, she tends to try and devour her meals whole and alive, unless they make her very angry or she's feeding on carrion, then she has no qualms abut chewing. If she hasn't been able to catch something or find some carrion for a few days, she will just pick up a handful of dirt on occasion and eat that to get the nutrients from the soil. She's also a very sleepy child, due to her heritage, often taking a nap when she has nothing else to do at the moment and her tummy isn't rumbling away from being empty.


What is Chichiko?
Chichiko is a Sproutling, which is really just another name for a very young dryad. Hard to believe but this little child will one day grow up to be an enormous, tree-like giantess. Yup, but that day will be a long time in coming; for now, Chichiko will have to survive, make friends, and learn how to use and control her powers as she grows and gets older. Also as she ages, she will exibit more plant-like and tree like physical traits. For now though, her powers and resemblance to a tree are fairly minimal.

Chichiko has dug herself out of the ground and already almost became a meal for a hungry wolf. Rikky, an artificial kitsune and ice elemental saved her however. He taught Chichiko her first word, "Rikky," He also really scared her when he transformed from his feral state to his demi state when she wasn't looking. He made up for it later by catching some fish and giving Chichiko her first meal. She also had her first big belch which was also another scary moment, but Rikky made it all okay and took her home while she was napping.

Current Powers, Abilities, Weakness:Being fresh out of the ground, she can't do a whole lot just yet.

Regeneration: Passive. With just some sunlight, water and a fresh patch of soil for her little feet to grow some shallow roots into, Chichiko can heal from injuries and wounds over a matter of hours or days instead of over days or weeks. Give her plenty of food and she can heal herself even faster with every meal.

Sap: Passive. If you prick Chichiko's finger, yes she will bleed, but it won't be blood that comes out, it will be a sweet, surgary, sticky, sap that leaks from the wound. Due to the thick viscous nature of sap, Chichiko will not bleed out from serious wounds or even the severing of limbs. Also, having sap in her veins instead of blood means that most creatures who use vampirism as a means of feeding will find Chichiko undesirable as a meal.

Language: Passive. Dryads are quick learners and have very long memories, This makes the learning of new laungages both spoken and written almost second nature tem. Chichiko's current mastery of language is limited to her name and it's syllables, but she is capable of learning far more, if someone is willing to take the time to teach her curious mind.

Resistance to Water Magic: Passive. Dryads are plants by nature and so love water. However, while very young, they seem more human than plant so their resistance is no where near the levels of an adult. Still, very weak or mild waterbased attacks will not be quite as effective as they would on a normal human.

Resistance to Earth Magic: Passive. Dryads are plants by nature and so thrive on the earth. However, while very young, they seem more human than plant so their resistance is no where near the levels of an adult. Still, very weak or mild earthbased attacks will not be quite as effective as they would on a normal human.

Weakness to Fire Magic: Passive. Dryads are plants by nature and so fear fire. However, while very young, they seem more human than plant so their weakness is no where near the levels of an adult. Still, very weak or mild firebased attacks will be a lot more effective than they would on a normal human. Even nonmagical flames will distress a sproutling due to the primal fear they invoke. Chichiko hates fire and will do whatever it takes to get away from it, even a simple match will scare her and send her running because of the deeply entenched fear her race has for it.


OOC Notes:
This character will evolve and change as major events that I consider to be canon happen to her. Her main prey will be small animals and micros, but she could be a healthy treat for a large number of creatures. She is mainly meant for storylines and interactions, though I'm certainly not opposed to vore with her. Should she be swallowed and digested I will at this time not consider such events to be canon. I also will not have her be a sexual character at this time. These restrictions may eventually change with time and over the course of events that become canon to her story. For now, my main interest with her is to establish some friendships and over all interaction to get her story started, but I won't overlook a quick meal or two while I try to get that started. Check back every now and again to see how she's developed and changed.
