Meet Cierra. She is, on the surface anyway, you average small village girl from a world that is for tha majority still in medieval times. Under the surface, you'll find yourself looking at a rather tomboyish girl who seems to have near limitless energy for just about anything that a girl shouldn't be doing.
In her home village, there are strict rules about who can do what and Cierra has broken almost all of them once or twice. She gets into fights, she refuses to get married, she wont learn "the duties of a woman" prefering instead to learn swordplay and to top it all off, her teachers find it nearly impossible to get her to focus on anything that isn't a physical activity. She's become well known as something of a local menace to deal with.

To make matters worse, the people of her village wouldn't have so much of an issue with her adventurous self, if it weren't for the fact that she had a massive reserve of untapped, raw magical energy inside her that she refuses to learn how to use because, once again, it isn't a physical activity. Thus, every now and then you'll see the odd building catch fire or a rain of frogs drop out the sky and she has no idea how to prevent it. Nor does she want to have any idea, either. She'd be cut some slack if she did learn how to use it, as magic users tend to be highly praised and revered among those without such abilities.
Speaking of her reserves, if you were to take all the Earth's oceans as the level a master caster would tend to have, Cierra's like the Sun in comparison. All that magic held in only by a fragile damn of sorts that prevents it from leaking out of her. Though, it often gets cracks in it that causes leaks to seep from her being. Hence the chaos that tends to follow her around. This being raw magic energy is another matter most would take into question as well. Something only found in magic hot-spots around the world, while people tend to have tempered magic energy that they've trained to achieve the use of. Raw magic being far superior in many ways, yet entirely unpredictable as well. A primal magic few understand.

Kitaro Village, the village that Cierra comes from, is known to be very independant of all outside nations, even having an education establishment to rival some of the most esteemed schools across the world. The education system is started once you turn 5 and ends when you are 25, giving you a long time to become fully educated and learn how the world works. At least, as far as the village is concerned. Cierra is one such student when played in her home village, even with her other responsibilities and hobbies. Her daily life is full of people trying to get her sit still long enough to be educated, whether she likes it or not.

Despite her prodigious magic, she still prefers to be a village guard equipped with sword and armour. Much to the distain of her peers about her chosen career path. They seem to think of her as a cute girl that needs their protection or in some cases, the mage that shouldn't be on the front lines. She still beats most in a straight fight any day of the week, sometimes even twice a day, the only few that she can't, or rather wont, are the Head of the Guard, the Village Elder_Cato and her own sister, June_Palmer. Each for different reasons, too. Her sister isn't one for fights or swords, but is a master magic user. Cierra sees this as more of a cheat in any fight they have and refuses to face her. The Village Elder has yet to lose to anyone in a fight and thus Cierra tries to better herself to eventually defeat him. The Guard Captain is one of the few who respects her wishes and actually tries to help her with them, so she respects them too much in order to pick a fight with them. The one time she did she got her butt kicked, but that was back when she was still trying to prove she was capable.

Her personality, as stated, is that of a tomboy with a lot to prove. She is hard headed, both literally and figuratively, stubborn and aggressive. She is athletic and has near boundless energy to spend on such endeavours. Though she'll make friends with people, they tend to be few and far between seeing as most find it hard to get past her hard exterior. Though, those who do get past it will find a rather sensitive, caring girl who mostly just wants to be seen for who she is, not for her gender. Cierra is even seen as a submissive girl if you can get to know her well enough for her to let her guard down around you. Something you might not expect from the rest of her personality, but something she is nonetheless.

In appearance, she tends to keep her tomato coloured hair cut into a short bob, showing the soft features of her face to the world and hiding nothing. She has bright emerald/jade eyes, the colour differing based on the light level and angle they are viewed from. Although she will generally present herself as a boy at most times, given they get more freedom, her breasts tend to give her away rather quickly as, though on the smaller side, they are still able to fill a decent hand rather well when groped. Something she has been subjected to once or twice, much to her assailant's dismay when she retaliates. Her figure is rather lithe, with enough curvature to make her seem feminine and attractive. She may look delicate to most without much muscle tone visible, don't be mistaken by her small stature. She definitely packs a punch when provoked and is more than keen to prove your thoughts on her wrong if you judge this book by it's cover.
Mostly, you'll find her wearing her village's guard uniform as pictured, though occasionally you might catch her in her downtime or when she's being held down long enough to make her study. In which cases, her outfit will vary based on the day, the activity or even just the location. Usually in less girlly clothes and more manly ones to suit her dislike for being labelled by gender.
Her sword of choice is a one-handed katana enchanted to ignite anything it comes into contact with, though sometimes she may be caught without her favoured blade and thus ends up with more traditional short swords or a greatsword if she thinks it'll help.

(Remeber, Cierra does not need to be played with her specific setting, her sister or any other component of the other profiles. She can end up virtually anywhere doing most things. The rest of it is simply for a wider backstory and a setting for those who want to play with it.)
