A former slave, Cindy endured most of her childhood working for her master. She was forced to either work long hours in fields, or forced to race in competitions to gain her masters some money. While she wasn't working or running, she was placed in a cage. not big enough for her to feel comfortable, but not cramped enough to cause any damage to her muscles. However, if not in her cage, she was tied and bound using rope. there were times where she'd be tied for a few hours, not being let the chance to escape due to her naturally high speed. There were times where she'd be tied up, and used as a display for the master's parties, showing off his prized snow leopard. She hated this life, but... developed a liking for being unbound.
Due to her living conditions, she never was taught how to survive on her own, and one day, when she was about to be killed for losing too many races (due to malnourishment and lack of exercise to keep up her strength), she was saved by SofiaRose. She is free, but scared, and timid.
Because of the way she was treated, Cindy developed a strange internal habit, which is going to take really long to break. She feels insecure without a collar around her neck, and if she's not being told what to do, or running, she feels the need to be bound in rope. It's not a sexual thing, it's more of a security thing, she panics if left free for too long. However, this does lead to her love of being unbound from rope. She explains it as "A feeling far better than love, a feeling of freedom from that which hold me. A feeling that I'll forever crave, that I'll forever love."
Later in her life, she met with Azelia who found out she had a dormant power within her. Azelia helped her unlock this power, and with her help, was able to command wind to her liking. She smiled, and thanked Azelia for her help, becoming an amazing wind mage, as well as a heck of a runner.
Don't be surprised if Cindy calls you Lady (if female) or Master (if male), she tends to still call people like that, because of the 13 years she spent as a slave, and had to call everyone who wasn't a slave like her Lady or Master. She does mean it in a nice way though.
