Coro

"Hey. My name's Coro. Don't mess with me. Cause I'll mess you up."

Coro is a rather cocky feral Riolu who is just a little too confident in his fighting skills. Make no mistake, he's good. He's just not as good as he thinks he is. And no matter how many times he gets put in his place by various things in various ways, he has a very convenient selective amnesia. (In actuality he just forgets. He doesn't dwell on his losses. Like, at all.)

He can shrink people, which makes him a rather fitting pred. But it requires quite a bit of concentration, meaning he can't do it in battle. The magic, if he is using it, will backfire on him if he loses concentration. Not that he wouldn't if he could - cheating isn't really out of the question for him.

He's also a pretty fast runner.


Coro, however, isn't ENTIRELY aggressive ALL the time. He's not a kid, but he's still pretty young, so he does value time off. If you catch him when he's got his guard down, and you aren't all tough and stuff, Coro can actually be pretty approachable. Though he'll still try and remind you that he could take you down if he needed to. Just as a friendly reminder. Not to protect his self-image or anything stupid like that.

Coro has an anthro and gijinka (straight human that only looks like a Pokémon, look it up) form as well, and while he cannot transform into them, they are interchangeable.

Coro isn't much of a threat. Until he shrinks you. Then he's much of a threat. Very much of a threat.

PASSIVE ABILITIES

Can't Touch Me!: Coro is fast. Very fast. And in doing so, he's very hard to hit. He gets a +5 on non-attacking rolls until the ability below is activated, or he shrinks his opponent.

Wait, You're Serious?: Coro's been in a few fights before. But he doesn't really take them too seriously, and can get caught off guard. If an opponent rolls 5 or more than Coro does (before Coro's bonus from Can't Touch Me! is given), deplete some of his HP, or get him into a grapple, he's snapped out of cruise control and gets a -4, reducing the penalty by +1 each turn as he slowly gets used to the fight until the penalty is gone. He does not get his +5 bonus back.

Defeatist: He may have a lot of fights under his belt, but he doesn't quite remember losses. Coro gets a -2 on escape rolls past the first stage. Additionally, if his opponent successfully grows back from being shrunk, he gets a -3 in all rolls until his opponent is once again shrunk.

Concentration: If Coro successfully wins three rounds in a row, he shrinks his opponent and grapples them, giving them a -5 on escape rolls. Coro cannot grapple someone if they are not shrunk. If they escape his grasp or win a roll, they are unshrunk.


ACTIVE ABILITIES

Deft Dodge: Coro uses his swift speed to Concentrate and dodge the attack. If he rolls 12 or higher than his opponent, he parries and knocks them over, stunning them for one turn.

Punch: Coro rears his fist back and smashes it into his opponent's face, dealing 2 damage. If he rolls 13 or higher than his opponent, the punch deals 3 damage.

Endure: He takes a hit and endures. His opponent gets a -3 on this roll, and if he wins, nothing happens.

Mock: Coro insults the other party with cutting words. They get a -1 on their next roll. If he gets 10 or more, this attack deals 1hp of damage.

Concentrate: Coro stops and focuses on his progress in his shrinking spell, giving him a -3 for this roll as he tries to calm himself down. If he succeeds in this roll, this turn counts as two successful rounds to count towards his shrinking spell. If this brings his total to three rounds in a row won, or six rounds total won, he shrinks his opponent immediately. Shrunk opponents get -5 on all rolls. Unless escaping a grapple, they must roll 17 or higher to grow back to normal.

Moves for shrunken opponents:
Stomp: Coro towers over his opponent and brings his large foot down on his opponent. Does 2hp of damage, or stuns his opponent for the next turn.

Buttcrush: Coro stands over his opponent and crashes down on top of them, smothering them beneath either his ballsack or his buttcheeks. This transfers into a grapple.

Pick Up: Coro bends down and plucks his opponent off the ground, counting as a grapple. Mocking during this phase gets a +3 on its roll.

Lick: Coro brings his opponent close up to his mouth and deals a long slow lick from their feet to their head. Does 1hp of damage, or transitions into 'swallowing phase' of OV.


FINISHERS
I'm SICK Of This!: Only accomplisheable if the opponent is shrunken a second time. Coro instantly picks them up with impatient fury and brings them into the final phase of any grapple.

Trophy: Usable in the final phase of a grapple (unless triggered by 'I'm SICK Of This!'), or if the character has 2hp or less and is shrunken. Coro picks them up and plops them into a jar. If the opponent cannot get a total of 35 in three turns, they are kidnapped by the Riolu and used as a toy or trophy for the foreseeable future.

Whoops.: If an opponent cannot escape a grapple within ten rounds, the shrinking spell wears off, and Coro is left with an engorged gut or sack, and the opponent is much too big to escape Coro's smaller passages.
