Background:
Daniela has always been a bit of a problem solver, recently graduating top of her class from a prestigious college with honours in Engineering. Immediately Daniela was flooded with job offers from consultancy and engineering firms, almost all of which she promptly turned down, accepting only the one that offered her the most money - provided they agreed to let her work part time. Needless to say Daniela is exceptionally gifted, able to set her own working conditions with her employer. But then Daniela has been pretty good at getting things her way all her life, simply taking what she desires where possible, or playing and manipulating others until the things she wants become available.
Of course working part time allows Daniela to maintain a good balance between her working and personal lives, which is exactly how she likes it. Unfortunately people like Daniela can become bored quite easily, and as such she has taken up a number of hobbies and pet-projects to try to keep her life interesting. Amongst the things she enjoys is designing and building her own microwave transmitters and receivers (she even designed and made her own mobile phone), developing ideas for fun games and then searching for people who might be suitable 'playmates' for them - and of course looking after her pet snake, a 7ft long Columbian Rainbow Boa lovingly known as 'Bowie'.

Personality:
Even though Daniela is a certified genius, you wouldn't necessarily know it as she's quite modest about it - besides, whenever others find out it suddenly becomes all they want to talk about, which just bores her to death. However her superior intellect, when combined with a lifetime of witnessing the stupidity of people, has had the unintended consequence of her often looking down at others - not quite arrogance, but it's enough to make her feel like she's 'above' anyone who doesn't measure up to her standards. Those who do are actually genuinely approached as potential friends, while those who don't she will typically brush off or do her best to ignore ~ unless they maybe had the potential to be a good player in one of her 'games'.
