Dean Winchester was born on January 24, 1979, and it was only four years afterwards that his life would change for the worse. It was then that he watched his mother end up practically attached to the ceiling as their house burst in to flames, all because of a powerful demon. Ever since carrying his brother, Sam, out of the house, he has seen t as his responsibility to care for his brother, and has been very diligent about that through childhood and up to this point. However, ever since that first incident, as well as encounters with horrible monsters, it has become part of his life to not only get rid of these creatures, but to help and protect people by doing so.

Nowadays, he is rather used to his lifestyle, which isn't the least bit enjoyable or rewarding, but he's about as happy as possible. He loves his car (a black four-door 1967 Chevrolet Impala), his family, and classic rock music. He always wears a brass amulet on a long black cloth band necklace. While the significance of the necklace is unknown, it is clearly quite important to him. Dean also likes vibrating beds, sunsets, long walks on the beach and frisky women. There is also a possibility he watches Oprah. But above all, Dean loves his family and will do anything to protect them, even sell his soul.

From an early age, he was trained by his father to hunt demons. He took to the job, thus he has several notable advantages for a human: He's an exceptional shot, has knowledge beyond the norm about the supernatural, is a skilled fighter, and appears to have some proficiency with melee weapons. He is, by his own declaration, the only one allowed to call his brother by Sammy.

One notable thing about Dean, however is that he also loves to eat and will try, it seems, almost anything. How exactly he ended up in the Nexus is still a mystery, but with a newfound ability to consume entire beings, he isn't going to stop any time soon. In addition to weapons and tools he uses to fight supernatural beings, he also has acquired a multitude of utilities that will help him with this. You best stay on his good side, although even doing that may not save you. In the Nexus, Dean is always hungry, and if he's hunting you, prepare to be on the menu...


Though he shares few bonds with others in the Nexus, he continues to have a strong relationship with his brother, Sam, and an angel named Castiel. He has also developed friendships with Misty Day, a gifted witch, and Lilly Burton, a curious young girl.
