ETA ::Profile (Castiel)

Castiel has been an angel since the beginning of time, being one of God's more loyal angels throughout the millenia. He has been ingrained with God and God alone for what can be assumed as millenia. Because of him being on Earth only every so often, Castiel can and will come off as cold and somewhat cruel. In his mind, he is a warrior of god, and while he is supposed to protect humans, he has also been ingrained with the idea that there are sacrifices to be made if something important is on the line. As such, he can seem like a real downer as he is prone to being logical about situations rather than lying over anything.

However, Castiel is learning more about human emotions and reactions, and as such, his curiousity is going to get the better of him most times. He will ask about what people are feeling to better understand what might be a 'normal' reaction to an 'abnormal' reaction to any sort of simple or drastic situation. However, an eventual experience in which his "grace" was taken from, which forced him to live as a member of the human race, had a great effect on this. Once he got his grace back, his knowledge concerning humans greatly exceeded that of any angel. He often still attempts to do things that he did as a human, though they often don't end the same way and result in spectators only thinking he looks "cute."

God is a touchy issue for Castiel now as rather untrustworthy forces have taken over in place of Him and he is unsure if He is truly there anymore. He still truly believes that he is somewhere, but it is something he does not wish to discuss due to his doubt on the situation. Castiel will very rarely lash out unless someone continues to press anything against him, but will otherwise usually dismiss things if it means getting his point across in the long run. Dean_Winchester is perhaps one of the few people he has learned to be patient with and gives him a bit more leeway than he does other people.

Of course, there is a good reason why he has began to visit the Nexus. Ever since his experience with famine, as well as a short period of thriving as a human being, food has become rather appealing to him and he still feels an occasional desire to fill his stomach. Unfortunately, his ability to taste every molecule in most foods has made this difficult for him, but such a problem was short-lived. After being attracted to the Nexus due to an abundant amount of demons, specifically Succubi, he found himself doing just what the other inhabitants of the place are known to do; he ate a demon whole, swallowing and digesting it alive. Somehow, the taste of living beings wasn't overwhelming to him the way other things were, which gave him a palate for them. In addition, after finding the feeling of squirming, live prey within his stomach to be a pleasurable feeling, he often satisfies hunger cravings with those he hunts. And those he hunts are rarely given mercy. After all, they only squirm when they are to be digested... However, he has also realized that some enjoy being swallowed whole, and those who request such a thing are often given time to enjoy themselves inside of him without being harmed (at least if he is friends with them). One such friend is Olapen, possibly the only succubus he has ever befriended. He has grown rather fond of her and allows her to take refuge within his gut (while at a very small size, of course).
