Donovan group up in the heart of Boston without knowing his real father. His mother, Tammy Jacobs, never told him who his father was, meeting every question about him with little white lies and a mere changing of the subject. Donovan’s mother would eventually remarry to another canine several months before her son’s eighth birthday. Donovan didn’t hate the man and have always accepted him as a father figure. Even if the origin of his actual day had been swept under the rug. Don eventually forgot about knowing the truth all together and moved on with his life. Donovan went to school, made friends, joined a few of the school’s sports teams and dated a lot in high school. He had no true aim in life, but enjoyed seeking new activities and whatever peaked his interest. But there would be something that would warrant his attention more than anything. With growing tensions between the US and the middle east and the recruitment efforts of the US military, Donovan found himself enlisting the Army just months after graduation.
Don wished to see the world and what it had in store. Even if it meant he was getting paid to blow up a chunk of it. He enlisted as an infantry soldier. He graduated from one of the toughest boot camps in the nation with honors. He eventually went on to Ranger school in NY before being deployed to almost every corner of the middle east. Eventually, Donnie would make it back home unharmed (for the most part anyway) with many stories to tell about his misadventures. Plus a few notches on his rifle to boot. He then thought about easing away from the action by reenlisting as a national guard soldier. Donnie gave being a Drill Sargent a try before moving to another unit outright. Donnie was very social. He enjoyed training with and instructing other soldiers. Even turning some of the biggest jerks in his unit into fast friends. But Donovan soon found himself face with newer challenges in America. Fighting was easy for him. It was adjusting to peace that was a bit challenging. Things got worse when the female commander of his company had taken special notice of the young sergeant. She would keep a close eye on him and make excuse for him to see her more often. Things then got heated when Donovan refused the commander’s more brazen advances. Despite the threats of a dishonorable discharged, he reached out to someone who would help him file a case against the captain. When all was said and done, Donovan’s company would soon find themselves under new leadership. But Donovan was done with the army. He wouldn’t reenlist, take his papers and walk…
Donovan was no longer in the military but didn’t let it get him down for long. He would find several odd jobs at places looking for some extra hands and extra muscle. He eventually made up for lost time with his mom and stepdad. Tammy and her new husband were so happy to finally have the time to spend with her son. Which kind of pained her when she finally broke her silence about Donovan’s real father and told him the whole story. How he was a famous comedian, how she was a huge fan and how she got the chance to meet him. When she finally told Donovan who the comedian was, he almost couldn’t believe what he heard. His mother had mated with Sebastian Wulf. Donovan could remember the jokes and references but have always regarded it as nonsense. Yet he couldn’t help but notice a few features about the wolf’s face that he found on his own. Donovan had recently heard Sebastian had moved to the island of Moreau. With this new information, Donnie made plans, called in a few favors from some friends and took a round trip to Moreau. Whether his mom was telling the truth was still up in the air, but he needed to find out for himself. He had to confront this comedian and either make peace with him, or give him a piece of his mind.
