23 year old viera boi who's 5'9 feet tall, and one of the many adventurers dotting the land of Eorzea, Dunn's a son of Ul'dahn merchants that ended up taking a slight rebellious streak as he grew up, in spite of his ability to easily take to the various lessons his parents afforded him. With his older sister having already committed to the adventuring path, and the boy himself getting increasingly bored with the prospect of just working behind a desk, Dunn would end up going through Gladiator's Guild and learning the basics of sword and board.

Granted, his first few outings weren't exactly good showings on his part, but showing the perseverance to keep trying (along with being completely shameless in recruiting help courtesy of said funds), the viera would end up working his way towards being competent enough towards earning his keep as part of the Maelstrom's Foreign Levy.

...that said, he does still help out his parents from time to time - his ability to work directly in Limsa when they need help there has earned him some reprieves for his initial rebellion, and it can be helpful having gil-related favours on hand when he runs into a spot of trouble.

That said, put him in a more social oriented environment and his background of being raised as a scion to a wealthy merchant family shows itself, being quite a bit smoother and charming on a field he knows far better. And he'll never admit himself but he has been known to indulge himself in parties quite too much - the sort of things that can involve mutual parties wanting to not remember it afterwards, whatever that may be~

And in case you want to play around with other types of bun:

The Heir: The obvious AU of the viera giving up on his adventurering dream and entering the family business anyway. Still got a heart, but a bit more of a rude playboy from the more uptight upbringing. Kinda both for more civilian stuff and for more predatory scenes since he is a bit more of a jerk in this universe.

The Warrior of Light: The other obvious AU - what was meant to be an ordinary job to take in a runaway would spiral out of control after a vision and finding a crystal in his hands. Primals, Ascians, the Garlean Empire themselves...there's still days where he wonders why he was the one of the lucky ones to have The Echo, when there's so many other people who he thinks would've done a way better job in his position...

The Garlean: also known as Dunn_pyr_Litorius. To say he's meaner would be underselling it a bit....

(And I'm open to adjusting him for any kind of setting you may think of to modern and sci-fi. Maybe he's just a conventional rich boy out on the town, heir to a super affluent company in a sci-fi future, I'm not too attached to keeping him in the obviously FFXIV-inspired setup.)
