Fredrick is a fairly normal red-fox, excepting the nine tails he has. Yes, he's one of those creatures that the Japanese call 狐（きつね）. He's a fairly nice one, usually content to just watch the comings and goings in the park, though every once in a while, he'll take a 'friend' back to his burrow and they'll never be seen again. It's unfortunate that he doesn't even give the poor fellows the benefit of an afterlife, but that's just the way he is. He's generally pretty apologetic about it.
