Hirondelle

She is one of the more unusual monsters to roam the wild. Entire nations have been held hostage by the simple threat of her. The mere mention of her name causes old men to turn pale, children to start crying, young heroes to hide themselves, and maidens to faint in terror. Boys and girls, men and women, cows and horses, houses and cars, roads and walls, even entire cities and armies have vanished through her lips. She can appear anywhere, ensuring that her terrified victims can never escape the caress of her mouth for long.

Her name is Hirondelle. And she is a pair of disembodied female lips.

Not just any ordinary set of lips, however. Hirondelle can manifest herself on any smooth, continuous, solid surface, whether as small as a coin or as large as a plain, causing her lips to emerge from the material. Beyond her lips lies a line of pearly white teeth, and a tongue sometimes flickers out of her mouth. Past that, however, is only an endless, infinite stretch of darkness - and anything eaten by Hirondelle is never seen again unless she voluntarily disgorges it.

"Please, come closer. I am sure you are delicious."

Not much is known about Hirondelle, except that she has been around for a very long time, but information is still scarce concerning her actual motives and personality. Conflicting reports variously describe her as cruel and cunning, malicious, a relentless stalker, coy, flirtatious, or even shy and coquettish. She has been blamed for devouring entire armies and cities indiscrimately, or focusing her attention on a single individual and ignoring those around him. She does not seem to be vulnerable either; if harmed or dispelled, she simply vanishes from the surface that she's projecting herself and reappears elsewhere. Her voice has also been the subject of controversy, with people reporting it as the voice of a young girl, a seductive maiden, or even a stately queen.

Design Notes
- Hirondelle's personality is kept deliberately vague and ambiguous so that it can be tailored to the story. She can be cruel and hungry, shy and timid, kind and gentle, flirtatious and seductive, or any of the above.

RP Hooks
- Stalker. She's going to eat you, but she'll take her time about it and taunt you all the while.
- Stalker with a crush. She wants you, and she'll eat anyone who takes your attention away from her.
- You're a summoner and you want her to serve you. (She doesn't like serving weak summoners.)
- You hire her to devour some of your enemies. Hope you can pay her!
- Slice of life ... however it works with a giant pair of lips.
