Personality: Quiet and careful. Cunning and thoughtful. Jax likes to keep to himself and learn. He isn't very caring, if only for the fact that he keeps to himself for the most part. He doesn't trust people, and it's very hard to get him to open up. When you get on his good side, you can find that he's very thoughtful, with a passion to learn and tinker. He likes listening to other people talk endlessly.
Jax's species is actually very unique. There exist only 1 million of his species at any time, and all of them are infirtile. How does a species keep it's population going without any way to reproduce? They don't, not exactly. See, instead of reproducing, their kind lives for 80 years exactly, to the day. Then, they die, and their body turns to dust. They then reform in a new body at the age of 10, with no memory of their old life. This new body can be completely different from the old, being male or female, with darker or lighter skin and different hair. While the soul stays the same, the body and name changes. On top of that, the specific person will always live to be 80 years old exactly. Should they somehow die before that time, their body turns to dust, and reforms them with all memories up to the point of their death intact. This puts a lot of strain on the body, making them tired and extreamly hungry and thirsty. Jax tends to prefer dogs and canines or anthro/demi-humans of the same variety over anything else. Their happy nature and desire for friendship tends to keep him safe when interacting with them. He loves to read about anything and everything, tinker with anything he can get his hands on, and above all else, Jax loves puzzles.
As you might imagine, Jax really dislikes cats, anthro or feral, as well as nekos. He's had quite a few bad experinces with them, and tries to stay away at all costs. Similarly, he's had quite a few encounters with snakes, nagas and foxes of all kinds. While the snakes tend to only have one thing in mind, foxes are tricky. They are attractive in their own right, and Jax has a hard time staying away, even though he knows it may be best to do just that. Still, there was a handful of times when they weren't so bad...
Vore info: Jax is generally unwilling. Even with his little gift, he's not a fan of being devoured whole. There are times when he's been willing, and that usually goes to people he's become close with. Perhaps it's a kind of saftey thing? Either way, there are times when Jax can tell what someone wants out of him, and if he figures out they get off on making him beg or squirm, he'll clam up and do either just the oppisite, or become compltely unresponsive. If it'll annoy his would be predator, or possibly get him to go free, he'll do it, and he's not afraid to bite.
