A Family Curse?

The Bianchis had always been Harpy folk, what wasn't genetic? Was the family curse. Eons ago, back when things were wild,
to include these winged scourges of death, far more hidious and monstrous, Jengo's family had made the dire mistake of
feasting upon a few stray children of a traveling Romani caravan (then known as Gypies), who's Duke (Leader) was keen on
divulding into his older sister's Lore. Feeling a thirst for vengence over the lost of his own son, he baded her to cast
a powerful ward to protect the rest of the Clan. Unknown to the Harpies, they returned with hopes to scavange once more,
only to be met with an entity that was far more violent than any of them were. This lead to a near mass slaughter,
leaving a mear few barely breathing and marred for life. Much to their horror, the demon didn't leave it at that...
Broken free from the seal that the Romani Sorceress had created, it gave chase and hunted them down with a re-newed
thirst for blood. Surrounded by slauter, the last Matriarch a young woman, who had never expected to lead a single day
in her life, took it upon herself to plead with the deity head on. Amused by her compuslve heroism... he offered her a
simple proposition. In exchange for the child in her belly? He'd let her family live. Shocked, not only by the
proposition, but also by the prospects of her being pregnant, and after looking to the final fragments of her ruined
family... Agda made the hardest decision in her life.

What she didn't know, was that he had no intention of stealing the unborn child away, no the foul creature merely
vanished with a soul shattering laugh, leaving not a single trace. Seeing the horror finally come to an end? They
celebrated for an entire week! Agda the Wise had saved them! Cheerful, and thankful for the opportunity to rebuild
their life, they moved away, claiming a new roost on the cliffsides of what is now known as Itally. Somewhere, where
they thought they would be safe. They soon discovered, after 8 months time, that they weren't exactly off the hook.
Horrified, they'd discover Adba's newborn Son had been subjected to become an even more foul creature than any of
them, as devowerers of human flesh, could ever be. Thankfully, he merely looked demonic... most of the time.
Periodicly, he'd be subjected into a Ravenous Blood thirsty Beast of a Harpy. When crazed, no one was safe from those
claws and teeth. Not even his own family members. Agda's son was the frist of what the Bianchi clan had come to name
as a "Figlio del'Male." For, after his death, as a childess member of the flock, he would not be the last...

Over the millennia, the Bianchi Family survived with their cursed Son's of Darkness. They also evolved and became
civilized, and eventually welcomed into main stream society, but were forced to keep the family curse a secret, in
order to maintain good standing. Over the years, many had done what they could to discover a solution, to give the
future a chance to truely live a life free from the monsters of the past. No woman should ever have to sob with fear
over the chance that her son was going to be born as an Il'male. Not after so many years had passed since the days of
cliffside life and human slaughter.

Somber, was the day of Jengo's own birth. No smiles, no birth showers, no gender reveals. Only preprations for yet another
life of isolation. Homeschooled, Jengo lead a life in the shadows. Never having been left for want, he was still kept away
for the safety of all living creatures. But that didn't mean a growing boy wasn't curious about how others lived. In rare
opportunities... he'd find a way to sneak out. There were even days where he plotted to run away from it all. Maybe HE
would be the one to find the cure to this damned curse...




Sure, he is a cute kid...

                    - 2020-07-18 - 02:08:55 - Ichabod had discoverd that there was a 'Filthy Harpy' about, way too close to his
                      web, and so, decided to deal with his avian problem, first hand! ((Scene Paused))

                    - 2020-07-19 - 03:47:48 - Dominic_Cole was surprised when a curious young bird boy planted his happy ass
                      in his lap. The harpy had never seen anyone with wings like the 'dragons.' And, much to his delight he
                     seems to have caught some sort of admiration? We shall soon see what transpries~ ((Scene Paused)).

                    - 2020-12-06 - 04:47:19 - Glacio had sacked a suspcicously grinning harpy with a snowball, knocking the
                      poor kid out cold! Immedialy regretting his actions, he helped Jengo back to his feet... when the demi
                      dragon was promptly introduced to the REASON his instincts were triggered.
