In a place without civilization or people to count the years, there wandered two foolish men. One was a shaman, a mouthpiece of the God that he served. The other was an architect that followed the shaman in faith and with great respect for his spiritual guidance. The two had set out into a vast, untamed land riddled with monsters and terrors at night to practice their religion in peace.
After wandering for many dangerous nights, cowering from their fears in caves and disguised under mud, they reached a range of mountains. The first of the mountains nearest to them was shattered, a great and glorious growth of the earth. It was at the base of this mountain that the shaman declared that this is where they should settle. He proclaimed the mountain was holy ground, a place of worship to their great God, Paimon. On top of top of mountain the shaman built a sacrificial alter to pay respect to their god. In the wood beside this place, the architect came upon a wolf. It was young and quick to trust him, it was offered food and brought into their arms with love. He was given the name of Kyl and he was happy.
The architect rolled up his sleeves and set out to gather resources, following the guidance of the shaman to build the house. The shaman declared that the roof of the house to be made out of soil and sod. The architect objected! Surely a roof such as that one would be too weak to keep out the rain! He asked him to reconsider, but the shaman insisted. Even with great doubt in his mind, he grabbed his shovel and began to construct a house of wooden walls, stone floor, and dirt for a roof. When he had completed his work a gentle rain fell and lush green grass sprouted, the roots of the grass holding the roof together. He named this home The Green Top.
